Never had Splatoon but heard so many good things on it I decided to give it a try and I have to say it's one of my favorite games. Really enjoy the characters and the online game play

This is the silly, fun kind of game only Nintendo could make, and get right. It looks gorgeous and plays really well. Definitely worth the money, with a new expansion to boot.

Splatoon 2 is a fun and fast paced blaster/shooting game without being guns and war. Splatoon 2 shows well on the small Nintendo Switch system, and even better connected to a larger TV.

Very anticipated game for the switch totally recommend. Easily a must buy for the Switch. Also a console mover if you don't own a Switch yet.

I don’t like shooters I was a call off duty elite, forming and leading one of the most prolific cod clans BOND, thre original NYC clan, but I stopped with all the horrible next gen crap and gave my ps4to my wife and got a switch I miss playing every now and then, so I wanted a shooter, and Nintendo actually made an amazing game here. It’s as good as cod without crazy violence ...you have clans, perks, boosters, uav, secondaries, tactical Also, it’d very very active with multiplayer online and constantly updated with daily challenges and a lot of aDLC support No doubt, if you’re a FPS fan and have a switch, another must have

This was a gift for niece and she absolutely loves it. It’s really colorful and adventurous. It’s a really nice and fun game to play.

This game rocks. The gameplay is amazing. My one qualm with this game is that you have to be online to play multiplayer. I know that is the point of the game, but there are situations where you can't get online and it would have been nice to have a local multiplayer split screen option.

In Splatoon 1, there were a lot of Specials that felt really unfair to deal with (Kraken, Bubbler, Inkzooka, Echolocator, certain Bomb Rushes). In this sequel, the Specials aren't nearly as strong which is great because it's less infuriating when you get killed by them. I'm still working my way through the single player but it seems to be more fun or just as fun as the first game. Salmon Run is also a fun and welcome addition. More games need to have that Left 4 Dead kind of co-op mode. If you've never played the first Splatoon on the Wii U, give this second game a shot because they really refined that core gameplay of being a squid and a kid.

I bought this game primarily for my wife. She loved the first version and is really enjoying the second. The only reason that this isn't rated higher is because of the convoluted voice chat configuration required to play this game. It actually deters players from using voice chat completely.

Bought for my son and he loves it more than Fortnight. Great online multiplayer in teams, splatting paint not shooting people. The team that has the most painted area wins.

My daughter loves the first game in the series. Great new take on the team based shooter with little violence. She loves the art style and the characters. A must own for switch owners

Splatoon 2 builds on an already great game with some graphics and stange updates. New team matches gets you abd friends working together to climb the leader boards. Would ve 5* execept you need to use a app on your apple/android device to use chat instead of it being native to the system.

A friendly yet competitive 3rd person shooter on the go and/or on your couch. Control are responsive and a great soundtrack. There is a story mode to get the player used to the different weapons type. But the game shine in the online multiplayer which surprising enough have little to no lag.

You have to be connected to the internet to play. You play in a group of 8. No interaction between players other than playing the game from what I've seen so far. It is a lot of fun!

My daughter was asking this game for a while and she received as birthday present. She loved the game and we are having a lot of fun

Overall th game is fun, mostly a lot of the same as the Wii U version. However, the best part is Salmon run which pits a group of players against AI. Over all it is challenging and fun, but the pitfall is matchmaking is limited to most people's working hours so I can only play on weekends.

This is a great game. It has single player and "team" mode. I'm not going to say co-op because you cannot share the game. There is no split screen capabilities. In order to play with your friend, they will need a copy of splatoon 2 and a switch as well. They can only join you in league, regular, and salmon run. Salmon run is a new thing in Splatoon and it helps you get the gear you want quicker. You can either team up with friends or just do it with strangers. It's also considered a job so it is not available at all times. The game itself is a lot of fun and we (husband and wife) find ourselves putting a lot of hours into the game. Also... woomy!

One of my all time favorites! The picture is quite funny and relaxing while the competition gives you the intensity.

Splatoon is a great game for kids. It helps them built and is very didactic. It’s a good game to play on a screen TVs, I recommend it.

Its their much awaited sequel to the Wii U game my kids loved. We’re expecting local coop split screen, there’s none but this game makes a great addition to our Switch library.
