This game lived up to the hype and as good or even better than the first one. The colors and graphics are amazing and the little details are great. Easy to play and learn, lots to build up for and work towards to play this for many weeks and months. Add the family or friends and the battles are endless fun. Painting the town and defending your side while blowing up other characters in a fun cartoon like way is nice for the kids and not violent at all. My 5 year old loves it and plays with me on his switch all he time.

My kids have the Wii U original and this was a nice upgrade with a couple extras added in.

Great game for the whole family to enjoy together. Only thing I dont like is you can't play if you haven't bought the Nintendo online membership. Thankfully it's only $20 for a year compared to other systems.

My son has began to enjoy video games and he loves this game. We recently purchased him a Nintendo switch and this game is one of his favorites. I would definitely recommend it for any ages 4 and above. This is a great buy!

As a casual player who does not enjoy other FPS because of the competitiveness, Splatoon is a breath of fresh air. The game is easy enough to learn. The goal of the game is to "paint" the most area of the battleground with your paintball gun. This makes it easier and more enjoyable for those who are not good at "shooting" other players to make contribution to the team. Online match-up is quick and 3 minutes per match time limit makes it suitable for a portable platform where you can pick up and play a quick game.

While not necessarily an easy game to get a handle on, Splatoon is good, clean fun that can be enjoyed by pretty much all ages, though kids might need to be advanced a bit past novice gaming abilities to really pick it up.

I wasn't sure how much I'd like this game, but I have become addicted! There is much more to do than appears at first glance, and the gameplay puts a spin on the typical first person shooters. So much fun, highly recommended!

the switch games are extremely well engineered, the kids both get on the system and play side by side. Mario is a great one to get.

This games builds upon the fun frantic action from the first Splatoon and creates a surprisingly deep and colorful multiplayer game.

Very enjoyable game... the only disappointment is that there s no local two player split screen feature. It would be great if my kid and I could play together without having to buy another switch and another copy of the game

Single player game unless online. This was misinterpreted when my daughter and wife went to purchase. The game is ok but I'm sure is much more enjoyable in online setting. Just not letting my 9 year old do that yet.

If you loved Splatoon, then 2 is a no-brainer. It's a great follow-up to what amounts to my favorite shooter in the last five years.

The game is a lot of fun and it has very nice vibrant colors. I think for first person shooting, it is very interesting and friendly.

Very surprised how much im having with this game. Unlike other online shooters im always having fun winning or losing.

The game has a lot to offer in the single player alone. The online is really great as well. You can spend hours and never get bored.
