I have already had hours of enjoyment from this amazing game and there's still tons more to do. A MUST BUY for any Switch owner.

The game may look like it's for kids but the competition is pretty intense when you play rank mode. The single player is also a good way to learn the mechanics of shooting and inking if you want to practice before playing against other people. Also a completely new feature from the 1st game is the co-op mode Salmon Run. Really challenging and fun and a great addition to the Splatoon franchise. Anyway I would say this game is very worth it if you are planning on using the multiplayer aspect extensively.

Great game, unique shooter with new mechanics that keeps the gameplay fresh. If you liked Splatoon 1, Splatoon 2 is a must get.

As of June 2021, Splatoon 2 has already sold over 11 million copies and for good reason. This game is amazing and entertaining and my kids and their friends spends hours playing it. It's colorful with good graphics and fun and very satisfying. There is a single player option and multiplayer and the multiplayer is where this game really shines. This game is almost perfect.

This is a must have for the Nintendo Switch. It is an excellent game with a fun diverse set of ways to play and enjoy the game.

A super fun online game but may unfortunately be on its way out from questionable player count. But when you get a game going it is a blast. Tons of weapons, tons of customization. A interesting but not great mini single player mission campaign. It is important to note this game REQUIRES Nintendo Switch Online in order to play. So if you don't already have that it will be an additional expense.

Never played the first one, but this feels like it's a first game in a series, not a second. The limited number of game modes (pretty much just area control), weapons (a dozen or so ways that all just shoot paint), character customization (how many baseball hat variations do we need), and maps (I've only seen maybe 6 in several hours of playing), coupled with a baffling lack of split-screen multiplayer, keep this game from being a go-to for me. The core concept here is really fun, and a great rated-E take on team shooters, but it without a lot of fleshing-out in patches, it will get really stale quickly.
