This is Splatoon but with a few additions. I hope they make Splatoon 3 with more features.

Great game similar to the first version. must get for the Switch. The kids love it. Only one player locally.

This is a fun online multiplayer game. However the single mode isn't very good. It's addicting though lol.

I purchased this game not knowing what to expect but it turns out it is a very good game. I'm pleased with the theme, different levels and graphics.

Only Nintendo and Japan can make coloring a fun activity that even adults can enjoy and find entertaining.

Splatoon 2 brings the same innovative shooter mechanics as it's predecessor but provides a much deeper experience. Online play is incredibly fun despite Nintendo's shallow attempts at voice chat and lack of a party system, which makes communication and playing with friends very difficult, dampening what could otherwise be one of the better online experiences on the market. Nonetheless, smooth, original and deep gameplay make this game worth purchasing.

There are a lot of 3rd person shooters out there. Non of them capture the fun competitive nature like splatoon 2. Then the main objective is to cover as much ground with your color ink as possible and not kill your enemies, it's definitely the type of game everyone can enjoy. Even though it's all about multiplier, the single player mode is also worth checking out I've personally already put many hours into this game and won't be stopping any time soon.

The fun, fresh and unique shooter from Nintendo. Nothing else like it and it's the hottest new Switch game.

The game itself is fine. Graphics and colors look superb. The added modes sure give you more options than Splatoon 1, however, some of the features on the latter have been taken away. This is the case of offline local multiplayer with just one console and a pro controller. If you want to do that now, you'll need to switch consoles and two copies of the game. Another feature I'm not seeing so far is ranked squad, were you could team up with either 1, 2 or 3 friends online and play ranked battles. There's "League" mode though, which is similar but not quite the same. Overall, a 4/5 game that promises to delivers hours of fun just like Splatoon 1 but with different dynamics.

I missed out on the original Splatoon on the Wii U, so I was happy to hear it hadn't changed drastically with the next iteration. The game has an entertainingly distracting single player mode to help you learn the ropes, and jumping right into online matches is a breeze and very fun. I'm not big into voice chat, so that complications with that feature don't hamper the fun for me at all. It's super fun multiplayer action that kids and adults can enjoy.

If you want a good multi player game that's fun no matter what age you are splatoon 2 is the game for you.

The game is so awesome. It's fun, and easy to pick up. As well as it having co-op mode on salmon run and online battles and when you rank up it changes the events and makes it a bit different to rank up. The story is great, especially if you never played the game before. It helps you get used to using everything in the game and gives you tips you can you for on line battles or helping you team on salmon run. Amazing game, super fun and awesome CO-OP!!

If you own a switch the you should get this game. Very fun and story mode is really cool too. Kids love it.

I bought this for my wife as she was a huge fan of Splatoon for the Wii U. I never get an opportunity to play on our Nintendo Switch because when I get a free moment to play, she wants to play Splatoon 2. She's having a blast with it and says its much better than the first. There are more weapons and apparel to choose from. There are 3 different game multiplayer game modes, a single player, and a co-op mode. Each one is great in their own right.
