Splatoon 2 is more of what the first was and it excels at being flat-out fun. Better balancing, tighter maps for more intense combat, Splatoon 2 is a no-brainer for anyone who owns the Switch and enjoys competitive games. The only issues with the game is lack of voice chat or better ways to play with friends which sadly are focused on the Switch itself and not a reflection of the game. Still, for what it is it's definitely a blast.

Brought this for my daughter the day it came out and she loves it. Have to say it looks real fun...

Splatoon 2 offers something most video games cannot - a robust set of customs that is unlike any other game on the market. Instead of having a simple 3rd person shooter style of game, Nintendo opted to add competitive multiplayer with hints of painting the town to gain control of points, plots, and maps. The fact that the sequel is on Switch makes it all the better. We are finally able to not only be portable, but we are also able to have a quality game experience on a TV set. My reason for not giving it a 5 is because it's nowhere near the type of game as Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. That is a high bar and for what this is its amazing.

This game is a really fun game. Its worth your time and money. If you have a switch, buy it.
