Splatoon 2 is a worthy follow-up to the first! Graphically, it's a definite step up. Gameplay is very similar to the first, but that's not a bad thing!

Only flaw... you need Online Membership. Single player gameplay can be fun but online multiplayer is the jewel of the game. The gameplay is smooth, graphics and the colors are so vivid I can almost smell the ink and feel the splats. Simple concept to learn. Great friendly paintball style game for children and adults. Never boring.

Splatoon 2 is the sequel to the already amazing Splatoon. It stayed with the basics and adds on to these. It adds on the customization option of hair, which (as I wish there were more choices) adds more individuality to your Inkling! The story in the game takes inspiration from the last game and is even more enjoyable! If you enjoyed the first Splatoon, then you will LOVE Splatoon 2!

I think the concept of covering the square footage of a map with paint is relatively novel and great idea. Also mixing 3rd person shooting keeps the game entertaining. The competitive mode offers objective based games which keep you engaged past just covering the map with more paint than the other team. I think this is one of Nintendo’s better recent titles.
