Cool game. Colorful and fun. Easy to learn but online can be pretty competitive.

Splatoon 2 is definitely better than the first game (attributed to a better console as well), that has good competitive multiplayer, extensive maps, and allows for additional surprise items if Nintendo App is used on Android or iPhone. It is not necessary to play multiplayer since it has a great single player mode.

Splatoon 2 takes and already great wii u title and makes it even better. The motion controls are smoother. The online servers are better. The graphics have improved. The single player isn't too much different but still very enjoyable. Salmon run is a fantastic mini game. Splatoon 2 is a must have for Switch owners.

Fun game but I would have expected it to be 2 player for couch co-op and it is not. Great for all ages though.

I was hesitant on purchasing this game because I am usually not into 3D environment games like this one, but I was able to buy it at a fantastic price so I decided to give it a shot and I am sure glad I did. It is an all around entertaining game and it is fun battling other players online.

This is still Splatoon, but with even more fun added. You have the same core elements from the original game (tutorial and the city looks exactly the same) but a few added fun modes and definitely better gameplay. But this is still Splatoon at its core. Fun shooter with less violent graphics, but just as fun.

LOVE THE GAME! This is my first time to play a Splatoon game, and it has exceeded my expectations. The campaign is great too, but I have spent more time on playing the multiplayer modes. This is by far the best part of the game, and I am really happy that it is on Nintendo Switch! I always play it on my sofa!!!

I never played the original Splatoon before, and I wish I did. This game has so much replay-ability for the amount that you pay for. There are constant changes to maps every few hours, and there are tons of different gears and weapons added frequently. I also love that they constantly add updates to the game.

This game is awesome. I enjoyed the first Splatoon on the Wii U and the second does not disappoint. I mostly play local but I do enjoy online with friends. For a nintendo game, this def competes with all the other first and third person shooters that are on the more advanced consoles for online play.

I love first-person shooters, but the Nintendo Switch doesn't currently have any titles in said genre. Enter Spla2oon! Not an fps, but a shooter none the less. My daughter and I have had tons of fun taking turns playing this game. It's a single player online game, but if you have kids, they will LOVE it!!

Easy to lose track of time playing this. I do wish it was easier to play on the same team online with friends.

While the game is great, it didn't change much from the first game, but that's okay if you really enjoyed the first one, like I did. If it wasn't for you, this game won't change your mind, but if you've never experienced Splatoon, now is a great time to jump in. Multiplayer is still fantastic and addictive.

Normally when I play a game with motion controls I turn them off right away. This game delivers a new aspect to first person shooters with the motion controls. The controls feel natural and clean. The game feels very well polished only downside is online is pretty much required to play.

I bought two pro controllers so my kids could play split screen with each other. Clearly I should have read reviews. It still supports local multiplayer with two sitches on the same network but I'm not planning to buy a second switch. Eventually we'll have a friend over with a switch and try the 'local' features it does have. That issue aside it appears to be a good game.

Very fun game, like the first one but more enhanced. Plenty of customizations but could use more game modes.

When you first look at this game it looks as if it's a child game with the colors and the characters. But I'm glad I gave in to the original Splatoon game. I fell in love with it, and this game was the main reason I bought a switch! I got the game on release day and I'm not disappointed! Well worth the wait!

Nintendo did not disappoint with Splatoon 2, it is more Splatoon but the core game is still just plain fun.

this is a fun turf war game on the switch. the commentary gets a little annoying since they cannot be skipped.

Very entertainimg for all the family, a new concept to soend hours

I played Splatoon extensively on Wii U, so I would have been happy just to have the same game available on Switch. Instead, Nintendo delivered a new and improved experience, while keeping the core Splatoon gameplay the same. Essentially everything is improved, and now the game is portable. Recommended!
