This is a great game. It has single player and "team" mode. I'm not going to say co-op because you cannot share the game. There is no split screen capabilities. In order to play with your friend, they will need a copy of splatoon 2 and a switch as well. They can only join you in league, regular, and salmon run. Salmon run is a new thing in Splatoon and it helps you get the gear you want quicker. You can either team up with friends or just do it with strangers. It's also considered a job so it is not available at all times. The game itself is a lot of fun and we (husband and wife) find ourselves putting a lot of hours into the game. Also... woomy!

Its their much awaited sequel to the Wii U game my kids loved. We’re expecting local coop split screen, there’s none but this game makes a great addition to our Switch library.

My kids really enjoyed this game but it did get a little repetitive for them. They haven't really played it after the first 2 weeks of owning it. If you have a good amount of games already, this one might start to collect dust.

Still playing this game on a regular basis. Painting feels so satisfying, but I find myself playing the newly added PvE mode the most.

Got it for my adult son. We all play it. A very exciting game. My 3 month grandson. watches it to and just laughs and and talks to the game. you can also play against others on line

This is one of those rare games where both kids and adults will love playing, with neither having to worry about the content being too brutal or overly simplistic to exclude the other. Only down sides are it might be a bit complex for kids under 10, and wi-fi is heavily required to play.

This game is one of the most innovative and interesting shooters you can play. I can't think of another game that is similar to this. The campaign is pretty fun to get the hang of the gameplay. Multiplayer is really fun although it is a little tough learning the game after it's been out for three years now. The one thing i like though is that it doesn't emphasize splatting the enemy team. Being able to focus on the objective makes the game way more engaging for me. Salmon run is also very fun and intense to get through.

Bought for my grandson. He likes seeing it change to a squid and crawling around. Very entertaining.

I love Splatoon 2. It has fantastic and deep online multiplayer, one of the best co op horde modes in salmon run, and a really great third person platformer esque single player campaign. It does have some flaws, namely it's online party system. It can be difficult to set up playing with a friend. But outside of that, I love everything about Splatoon 2. The online multiplayer with a crazy amount of guns and gear to keep things fresh will keep you busy for countless hours. Also, stick with the motion controls. It can be tough getting used to at first. But give it about an hour of single player and you'll never want to use twin sticks again

My kids love this and play it all the time. If you liked the first Splatoon this is the same plus more. And Splatfests are back!

Excellent shooter for the whole family. Endless fun with online matches. Highly recommended. Nintendo AAA titles rarely miss.

Be aware that there is no couch multiplayer, you can only play with other people online. Regardless, this is a fun game and definitely a must have if you own a Switch

I bought this game for my son's 14th birthday and he absolutely loves it. He has the first Splatoon on the WiiU and begged me to get this one for the switch. So far so good!

Bought before Splatoon 3 was announced but want to get my siblings into this game so we can play together. Love this game.

Super fun on-line game. It’s such a better alternative to shooting up other players with guns. Instead to cover their area with paint. Lots of content and upgrades.

Works well. I bought it to play with others online and it has many player and character features. It is child friendly as well.

This game is super addicting. Turf war alone is fantastic, but the other modes are a lot of fun to play as well. If you like team shooters, this is a game you don't want to miss.

This is game is so much fun. After playing as inkling on smash, I had to try this game. The only downside is no split screen.

I bought this for the kids (11, 5). Challenging enough to be fun but easy enough for younger child. The only down side is no two player version (each kid has to play separately.

This game is fun to play, it is the sequel to a Wii Ü game but the original is not necessary to get into this one. My 5 year old nephew and I both really enjoy playing the game.
