I think the concept of covering the square footage of a map with paint is relatively novel and great idea. Also mixing 3rd person shooting keeps the game entertaining. The competitive mode offers objective based games which keep you engaged past just covering the map with more paint than the other team. I think this is one of Nintendo’s better recent titles.

Splatoon 2 is the sequel to the already amazing Splatoon. It stayed with the basics and adds on to these. It adds on the customization option of hair, which (as I wish there were more choices) adds more individuality to your Inkling! The story in the game takes inspiration from the last game and is even more enjoyable! If you enjoyed the first Splatoon, then you will LOVE Splatoon 2!

I played the first one on the Wii U when it came out and I was obsessed with tanked mode. Splatoon 2 had made me become obsessed with this franchise again. Tho I wish there was some for of voice chat cause some of these matches are unbearable without voice chat

This is a fun game, but it is still lacking local multiplayer capability. The ability to play split screen local multiplayer would make this a 5-star game

This game is a lot of fun. It's pretty simple, but complex enough to stay fun.

Not even kidding, this game is so much fun, It can be extremely overwhelming with the gyro controls, but once you really give it a chance and see yourself get used to it and play better, no shooter will feel the same again. Gyro controls should eventually become a whole new standard. Matches are short, weapons and stages are plentiful and Splatfests are fun!

This is a great game and the best multiplayer available on switch!
