If you enjoyed the first Splatoon, the sequel is equally as fun and addictive. Salmon Run can be very difficult, but a lot of fun. The new multiplayer maps are all winners. The game has no local multiplayer options on 1 system, so if you want to play with friends, everyone will need their own Switch, which is my one and only gripe.

Kids love this game. Never stop playing it. Good fun.

It's not a revolutionary sequel, but it's a stellar game on a portable AAA system. Highly recommended.

If you liked Splatoon, this one is even better. Hilarious Inklings, a robust online community, and addictive "combat" (if you can even call it that.) Also a breezy single-player campaign that you'll keep coming back to, just because it's fun. If you're on the fence whether to invest in a Switch, this game is the reason to get one.

One of the best games on the Nintendo Switch, especially for online play. A refreshing take on the shooter genre, playing very differently from the more violent Call of Duty and Battlefield franchises because the goal is not to kill your enemies, but to mark more territory in your teams color of ink than your opponent.

Splatoon 2 feels like a better tuned and faster game than it's first entry. Online matches are great fun where the course of the match can change in the last minute. Teamwork is crucial when it comes to ranked matches. Voicechat is a new feature for this game but I haven't tried it out yet so I can't comment on how well it works.

While the premise of the game is deceptively simple, Splatoon has a pretty deep system behind it's gameplay. The main ink battle mode is easy to jump in and enjoy, while allowing players to get the hang of different weapons and tactics. Free DLC and support after release keeps the game fresh months after initial release.

While there is a a single player campaign, it is not really the highlight of the game. This game excels in the multiplayer aspect with unique ink based game modes where you can either fight co op against waves of enemies or online against other players as a team fighting for control of a map. While the main multiplayer game mode of inking a map to win is great, the other new game mode is only available during certain times which makes it incredibly inconvenient when it is so much fun.

Yeah, the online chat platform is broken but this game is still legit for an online experience. Yeah, the single player is kind of weak but you knew that going into it. This is easily the best TPS on Switch, and it's still kid friendly. Just when you didn't expect Nintendo to continue with great creativity, they do it again.

Splatoon 2 is a must have for Switch gamers. I pre-ordered through BestBuy and the entire process is the way to go to ensure you have a "new release". My daughter and myself could not be happier. We have been waiting for Splatoon 2 ever since we got our Switch and we had it on release day All her friends wanted to play it. Cool.

I've been hooked on Splatoon since the first time played it. Splatoon 2 is even better. By far one of the best games on Nintendo. The online battles and the speed of play is awesome. The "Splat fests" are great fun too. I usually don't like shooter games, but for some reason this is different to me. Loads of fun for all.

This is easily the best game released this year. If you have been on the fence about buying a Switch, this game is the system seller. I normally do not like pvp shooter games at all. Splatoon 2 is something totally fresh and unique that simply must be experienced to understand. Nintendo has another hit franchise on their hands.

If you've played the original Splatoon and didn't enjoy it, feel free to move on - the core gameplay isn't much different. However - newbies and returning fans alike will find a lot to love here. The 3 minute matches make it perfect for the on-the-go nature of the Switch, and Salmon Run brings something new for people to enjoy.

Not much different than Splatoon but still very fun. I recommend turning off the auto controls and use the analog sticks.

This game is so much more fun than what I initially thought. It's fantastic. My only complaint is that I didn't get it sooner. I normally don't enjoy online shooters, but this one has pizzazz. Get it. Stop reading. Buy it. Why are you still reading? Go purchase this life-changing product. Are you still reading this?

Daughters love this game. Great colors fun and best buy made it easy to purchase.

Fun game, engaging multiplayer. Really wish Nintendo would open Salmon Run more often so working people can get after it.

This is the first real multiplayer game for the switch. No native voice chat makes it hard to communicate with players.
