My kids love the game. They like the single player and the multiplayer modes.

The original Splatoon was, well, original. The modes were fun, the controls were great, kid friendly....all good stuff. 2 has that and more to go off, even if it is a little more of the same. Just like the 1st, the campaign feels short and that this game's main priority is online multiplayer. As it should be I suppose, though bigger and better should always be how sequels MO need to be.

It has a good story, graphics are great & my nephews & I enjoyed playing this game, so much their parents bought them a copy of the game. Easy controls, my 6 year old nephew got it down his first try. Great online, multiplayer & all out fun, 2 thumbs up.

My kids love this game! Best Buy offered the best price on it too. Ordered online and it was ready for me it pick up. Just a warning, you do need the Nintendo Online Membership to fully play the game.

Cool game. Great graphics. Easy to learn. Wish it was multiplayer.

Mechanically the game is fun and super satisfying. But trying to organize playing with friends online is an absolute chore and in a lot of cases mostly out of your hands. Its silly not being able to matchmake with friends properly and if you don’t have a full group of 4 you can’t even do ranked 4v4. This game could’ve been perfect but unfortunately these are issues they’ll never fix

best game ever, my 7 year old boy and I both have so much fun with this game we are fighting over who gets to play next (in a fun way of course) I so recommend this game! and look forward to our adventures with it

I bought this for my daughter who begged for Splatoon 1 on Wii U, but we never purchased. She played it twice and never touched it again. We are not big on online Multiplayer on consoles and I was hoping Splatoon 2 would have a decent single player campaign. It doesn't. It's a great online multiplayer game, but if you are looking for a good single player campaign this isn't it.

Never played the first game. So jumping in now seems the best choice. The multiplayer is super competitive and fun. There is coop but is only available at certain times during the week which is weird? Everything else is a really enjoyable time though.

Splatoon 2 was at first thought of as more of a small upgrade to the original Splatoon but with a new singleplayer and mode called Salmon Run, plus many new stages, songs, and weapons, it is even more fun and has tons more content than the first game.

Splatoon stands out in a genre that is filled with mostly Call of Duty, Battlefield, and other realistic shooters. The game itself is pretty accessible to most people playing on the Switch. The most prominent game mode is mostly just seeing which team can cover more of the map with their team's color of paint so aiming isn't too demanding for any kids or adult's who may have a hard time in traditional shooters. It also allows for players who put the time into it to become truly great since there are many mechanics, weapons, and abilities to make use of. The designs are adorable and the music is pretty nice. The game isn't perfect by any means but it's mostly due to Nintendo's backwards approach to online gaming such as how hard it can be to join friends in a game. It's still an enjoyable time and I pick it up on occasions when I can play a few rounds. Nintendo has been dedicated to bringing new content such as weapons, clothes, and events to keep the game from getting stale. It's a 3.5/5 but the system doesn't allow for half points.

This is an innovative and fun game. Original in concept, and plays very smoothly. I would like to give this game 5 stars, but it lacks something important in the Nintendo family. There is no way to play locally (with only one device) with friends. The switch is still an expensive and scarcely found product, so I think it is important to have as much local multiplayer as possible.

I really loved the first Splatoon on the Wii U and I was not disappointed by the sequel. Although it is pretty much the same game, there are some differences and additions to this game that give you more gameplay options. Splat it up inklings!

This game is a very cute way of having your kids play a FPS. The level and variety are good and the paintball idea keeps the kids challenged for a while. Odyssey is the clear winner for 2017 but this is a good addition to your switch collection.

One the best if not the best multiplayer game on the Switch atm has coop, pvp, and single player all great all fun recommend the game for fans of multiplayer games while the single player is decent the main draw of the game is its multiplayer

I loved the first splatoon when it came out and this this one is just as good if not better. This time their is plenty of content right out the gate. Finding matches is quick and easy, and the game looks beautiful with style to spare. I just love it.

This was at the top of my daughter's wish list forever and she was so excited when we finally received it. She loves this game, but she she only gives it four stars. She said the gameplay is fun, but very similar to before with similar stages. She wishes "Salmon Run" was playable on more days and the main story-line was predictable. Overall, she really enjoys the game though!

One ou start to play the multiplayer online you won't go back to story mode. I straight up love this game better then the first one. I do wish Nintendo make sure it so you can talk to other poeple online but other then that great buy for the online.

One the surface, Splatoon 2 looks very similar to the original Splatoon. But the subtle balancing, tweaks, and extra modes, along with crisper visuals, make Splatoon 2 a delightful experience every Nintendo Switch owner should experience. I love it.
