If you haven't played the original Splatoon, you're in for a treat. This has all of the goodness of the original, and a few extra bonuses. (IMO, the original Splatoon was the best game for the Wii U.) The bad news is that if you had already played the original, Splatoon 2 is little more than a port. But the game is so good, that this isn't really a huge negative. The online play is great and much tighter than the original. The downside of this is that the voice support is lame as heck. (Just use dischord to chat with your friends while you play.) The biggest new feature is Salmon Run. This is a new coop mode. Sadly, it's not available all of the time. But the good news is that if you play locally with your friends, you can have local games. Bottom line: Great game, though there is still a good amount of room for improvement.

Exactly what my son wanted. He has been asking me for it for a while and Best Buy had it at a great price.

This game is a great game for the whole family. The upgrades that were made from splatoon 1 make the game flow better as well as the weapon upgrades.

Everyone that own a switch needs to get this game. It is fun and highly addicting. There are plenty of options in the game. I highly recommend it!!!!

I log a good hour or two in this game every day. Every match lasts around 5 minutes which makes it great for quick play instead of other games where you have to set aside at least twenty minutes to a match. The new game modes are really cool too, like Salmon Run. Being able to play this either portably or on the big screen is really magical and I'm so glad the Switch allows me to be able to do that. Best part is it has all the strategy and adrenaline of a shooter but without the violence that's so pervasive in modern games. Its fun for the whole family!

If you liked Splatoon 1 then you'll love the sequel. If you haven't played the Wii U then you can still jump in no problems and not feel lost at alL!

Splatoon 2 is super fun game for kids even grown up! me and my soon enjoyed the 1st splatoon and splatoon 2 is nothing but fun! new guns and powers!

single player is good but the more friend you have the better. if you have 3 other friends with switches and this game, this is a must-have.

Splatoon 2 offers great multi-player with a short learning curve. You will be enjoying matches in no time short. This is a must have for the Switch.

I don't think I've had this much fun with a multiplayer game in years! Zelda was great, but for playing online, this is a blast! Highly recommended!

Really great game. I personally didn't enjoy the first one, maybe the Wii U didn't feel as great control wise. This game on the switch is fantastic.

My family has 3 switches, and this is the only game we have three copies of so we can all play together it is such a cute, and fun game.

It's no wonder this game till this day has a regular price of $59.99. solid and super fun, must buy if you own a switch.

This is a great G-rated take on the team-shooter genre of games. It's stylish and sleek and fun. Unfortunately, there simply aren't enough stages or modes, and the difference between weapons isn't drastic enough, to keep me playing constantly.

Game play is smooth, and much like the Wii(U) game version. The only downside (which really cannot be helped) is that the screen size limitation makes the game play occasionally difficult. However, for a Switch game, the game play is very good.
