Nintendo made one of the most unique third person shooters ever with the first Splatoon, and Splatoon 2 takes everything great about the first one and and makes it even better. The gameplay is smooth and solid, the maps are creative and fun, and it is a great way to play with friends. This game highlights what is so great about the Nintendo Switch; You can play at home online or you can take it with you and play anywhere. I will have 3 friends over and we can all play together with our own screens. If you own a Switch this is a must buy.

The first Splatoon was amazing, and Splatoon 2 is definitely more of the same, but that's exactly what I wanted. It's super fun and addicting.

I played Splatoon on and off, and really enjoyed it. Splatoon 2 has been an improvement all around. Salmon Run is pretty fun and very challenging. When Turf War gets a bit stale I like to pop in there and try to survive. Ranked offers three different ways to play and allows you to experiment with different weapons. Splatoon 2 is my go-to game to kill off some steam after work. It doesn't feel like I have to make such a big time commitment like other games. I definitely recommend using a wired connection. It makes for peace of mind.

Son loves this game! Plays it all the time and was able to get through the story mode pretty quick

I bought the Splatoon 2 - Nintendo Switch game for my 9 year old son, and he loves it! He can play with his friends in multi-player mode.

The entire family loves this game! All different ages and all different skill levels. It is great to play online with other players.

I played a little of Splatoon 1 so I had an idea of what I was getting. After playing Splatoon 2 for a week I can't stop coming back for more. The games are short and it's nothing but fun. My only complaint is a seeming lack of content.

This is a sequel and balance wise it really shows. Special moves that let you dominate your opponent's have been replaced. All the special moves in this game require thought and skill to use. Getting your gear is a lot easier with the new system that let's you scrub gear chunks. This means you no longer have to rely on random chance when trying to get perfect gear. The maps in this game are focused on forcing a confrontation between teams in the middle of the map. Sniper's don't have as much of an easy perch in this game as the original.

PvE is pretty by the numbers and uninspired. PvP is fun but Nintendo online is awful. The game is hampered by Nintendo's failings on online play. The actual game is great. If you can play locally with friends you are in for a treat.

We really liked splatoon and definitely had to add splatoon 2 to our collection. Not disappointed at all. We play this game almost everyday.

I held off on buying this because i didnt think it would be something i enjoyed but it ended up becoming one my my most played switch games.

The only reason not to get this if if you aren't going to play online. The single player is pretty meh, but online Splatting is a ton of fun!

If you played the previous Splatoon game, you will be very familiar with this one. That's not necessarily a bad thing. The game is very fun and hopefully will be played by more people now that it's potentially on a more popular system.

This is the reason I stood out in the cold for 4 hours just to buy a Switch. I am not disappointed. Splatoon 2 is THE reason to buy a Switch.

Splatoon has always been a favorite of mine to play on the WiiU with friends across the world. Splatoon for the Switch is also great!

This latest version of Splatoon keeps some of the previous features and expectations, but incorporates some fantastic new twists!!!

Though there isn't a lot to differentiate itself from the original Splatoon, 2 still offers a worthy experience with a new Salmon Run mode and a more fleshed out single player mode. Is a fun time for countless hours!

I bought this for the switch because we had it for our wii-u. My grandkids love this game.

Kind of a strange concept for a game but strange is good. Oddly fun and addicting
