If you haven't played the first one your jumping into a great game if you have played the Wii U version it's more or less the same just some missing multiplayer with friends features have been moved around over all still a must buy.

Having never tried before purchasing, I wasn’t sure how good it would be, however, once I tried it I was amazed.

This is a fun game and I still find myself playing it occasionally. Something about it is not quite as addictive as the first game though. Perhaps it's the change in the weapons that Nintendo made. Still a fun game though!

if you want a great time with your kids then get dis. I think its just 1 player for a solo console but multiplayer online where it shines.

My kids love playing Mario games and I know they won't get inundated with questionable images. Plus it's fun for the whole family!

If you was on the fence about buying in the Nintendo Switch, the wait is over. Stop what you're doing and go buy a Nintendo switch and make sure you pick up splatoon 2. Now I'm at Older gamer and I have bought copies for for my children. We have been playing relentlessly to the wee hours of the morning every night since its launch. Single player is pretty good but not as addicting as the multiplayer on line stuff. This game is a must buy right along with arms, the legend of Zelda, and Mario Kart 8. Well done Nintendo, well done.

The best game so far for the Nintendo switch. The graphics have change more than the first splatoon more additions that made the game fun.

As usual my kids must have he latest Mario release. It’s a winner because he’s always playing it . You can’t go wrong with Mario games

I loved the first game, but slowly stopped playing after they ended the splatfest, so I can't wait for the splatfests to start in this one

I never thought I'd like this game. My girlfriend played the first one, but surprisingly I got addicted to it. It's very player friendly!

I can play this game forever! The online play is amazing, the gear, guns and even the bright colors truly make this game addicting!

I love this franchise! There are tons of unlockables. The single player is pretty good. The customization is great. The lobbies also load pretty quickly, I love the updates and Nintendo's support for the future of this game.

My kids love playing this game on the Switch. The game adds depth and excitement to the first installment that was released on the Wii U.

I bought this for my teenage son and he enjoyed it as for me I couldnt get into it much. But at least it's a kid friendly game.

I bought this when Best Buy had it on sale, if I had known how good it was, I probably would have bought it at full price earlier. A word of caution (especially if you have young kids) it's VERY addictive, it's so easy to just play for hours. It's a ton of fun, but if you have tiny people you might want to make sure they aren't playing it under their covers after their bed time, not that an adult like me would know anything about staying up too late playing a game that I thought was just for kids. ;)

Seriously, this is just good all around fun. Lots of variety and modes. I've already put probably 20 hours into it. A lot of fun for all.

Excellent quality game. Online is a steady 60 FPS so everything is smooth and crisp. The game is a lot of fun. I didn't really like the first game but Splatoon 2 improves every aspect of the game from its single player campaign, load times, graphics, and music. It still retains some annoying elements such as not being able to change equipment while waiting for the next round, can't play salmon run online whenever you want, and voice chatting through a terrible phone app. Overall this is still a must have for any switch owner.

This is a fun game especially if you have an Internet connection to play with others, if not, there is a fun story mode to follow too.

The main single player game is short but really fun, a mix between a shooter and mario sunshine is a good description. Multiplayer is very fun, only issue is that you can't change load outs with out leaving the multiplayer lobby.
