Loved Splatoon 1, and I love 2 even more. Everything is better, online is great, and it all keeps being updated like before.

This game is so fun and addicting. The multiplayer is very fun and the timed extra games (Salmon Run, Splatfest) is fun too.

I missed out on playing the first splatoon, but luckly buying a switch meant i get to experience the fun that is splatoon 2.

As of June 2021, Splatoon 2 has already sold over 11 million copies and for good reason. This game is amazing and entertaining and my kids and their friends spends hours playing it. It's colorful with good graphics and fun and very satisfying. There is a single player option and multiplayer and the multiplayer is where this game really shines. This game is almost perfect.

I absolutely love the art style with the new Splatoon amiibo! They are very well constructed and the art style it has is amazing! It's mostly a matte finish for the squid itself, but the ink has a nice glossy finish. You can only use this amiibo for Splatoon 2 for a cool robot-looking armor set and for Zelda to get a common chest like all other non-Zelda amiibo. I have yet to try it on Mario Kart, but I will update when I try it out. I'd definitely go for it if you are a collector like myself!

Great game, never played the original on wii u, very beginner friendly and def for those who want a different fps experience

If you have played the first splatoon, you pretty much know what you are getting with part 2.If you havent, this is basically a shooter where your goal is to cover as much territory with your paint color while fighting off the other team who is trying to do the same thing. It's the same core gameplay but with added weapons, new maps, and new modes. The single player has been improved and the multi player is still fun. Best of all, since the switch is portable, you can take it on the go!

My kids love splatoon. They have a great time playing and love the beautiful colors.

This game is super fun well designed, colorful, artistic, just a great package. But... if you want to play alone at all, there's really not as much to do. I'm hoping a future update will allow the Salmon Run solo.

My teenagers love this game. Had to buy 2 so two of them could play it with each other on their switches.

Great for people that don't usually play competitive online. The single player campaign is okay, but good for the practice.

A super fun online game but may unfortunately be on its way out from questionable player count. But when you get a game going it is a blast. Tons of weapons, tons of customization. A interesting but not great mini single player mission campaign. It is important to note this game REQUIRES Nintendo Switch Online in order to play. So if you don't already have that it will be an additional expense.

This game is really just a between version of the first game with some new modes. Super fun for casual or competitive play.

I never played the first game but I jumped into this one not knowing much about it. Man am I happy about my purchase. It's a unique game with unique characters. I'm happy that the big N took a chance on a new IP.
