Fresher than ever

Now on the Switch, Splatoon 2 boasts better graphics and multiple gameplay updates from the first, a new horde-based game mode, and an all-new single-player campaign (which, although it is recommended, does not require you to have played through the original Splatoon's to understand the story).

Addictive Game with Some Issues

Splatoon 2 offers more game modes (including a fun horde mode), and the same addictive play. The single player mode is fine, but a little clunky. My main issue is the game is actually less intuitive to play on the Switch than original on the Wii U. Respawning to desired points on the map requires more button presses and doesn't always work properly. The motion/gyro controls don't seem as precise as they did in the first game. Overall a good game, and hopefully it gets continued support from Nintendo.
