My child got this with their birthday money as it's the only game they cared for. Graphics are amazing, but it can be tricky at first to try and use the joy cons playing the game on the tv. It's a bit easier if you just play it on the console itself. I am an adult and I *LOVE* playing this game. It's hours of fun for all and you can do tournaments online against others.

What an interesting and fun game. Concept real easy. Just cover as much territory with your color paint and you will. Opponents can cover your ink color with theirs to cover more ground. Countless hours of fun for anyone that comes over. Easy learning curve.

I never played the original, so I came in brand new to the Splatoon series and was pleasantly surprised. This game offers you almost everything your traditional shooter would, but in a kid friendly version. 4 on 4 battles in different game types, something that is somewhat comparable to a campaign, and all kinds of leveling up to your character and equipment. Loads of fun!

I always wanted to try this game when it came out for Wii U, so when I finally got my switch, I picked this game up. Such a fun multiplayer game

I was disappointed because this game does not support local multiplayer split screen. The game play is very good but it would have been better to have more than one person be able to play on the same switch. I was not expecting that because the original splatoon did support it. Other wise it is fun but Nintendos implementation of online chat stinks. I think this is good if you want to play online and not talk to anyone or play through the game by yourself

Splatoon 2 is a really fun game. The matches are quick and different classes help to keep things fresh between matches. The game also looks great and runs really well. There are a couple things that I feel holds back the experience: 1) Not all modes are always available. Salmon Run is really fun but you can only play it when Nintendo deems it ok. 2) The ranking up can take a while, even when you are your team's MVP. It leaves the experience feeling a bit grindy. Overall, Splatoon 2 is a very good game and is worth checking out if you are interested.

We tried this game at Comic-Con so we bought the game. Fun action packed game that would be a 5 star if you could play two players on a split screen

Fun in bursts, a good game to just pick up and play provided you have an internet connection. Single player is fun but the appeal doesn't last long.

Game is fun with online mode and story is difficult. However, it is a shame that's there is no co-op mode where you can play split screen

I never got the first one, but decided to give this a shot and its great!
