This is the most unique take on a first person shooter that has been done in years. Bravo, Nintendo. The gameplay is very fun and addictive. The only problems is that there aren't many different modes, and that not too many people play online anymore.

I am pleased that my son loves this game. He has been waiting for this to come out.

As someone who doesn't play a lot of online shooters, Splatoon makes it easy to jump in and play. There's no lengthy downloads or wait times between matches (well... usually), after playing the tutorial you're ready to go. And that's great because it's very easy to get into, and surprisingly addictive. I wasn't sure if a game like this was for me, since normally I only play single player, story driven games for the most part. I'm not a very social gamer, so I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. But you know what... Somehow Nintendo got it right. It might even be worth buying a Wii U just for this game. Maybe.

Someone brought this game for me. At first I thought I would not like this game but now I love this game. I love playing against other people. Definitely purchase it.

Really like the strategy involved this game but wish it had more local co-op options

My favorite part is the online. It's very competitive and I love games like that.

This is a great game however the Nintendo network and customization is lackluster.

One of the best games for the WiiU. It is an adorable game for younger kids and adults will enjoy as well. Wish it had local multiplayer capabilities.

This is a great game for the wii u. A fun shooter nothing like call of Duty.

Splatoon is a fun game overall but i wish you didnt have to use the gamepad.

Great game. Colorful and fun. It could use some different game types though.
