Cool Game

Disappointed

I guess after reading reviews there are parts of the game where it can be used. To me it was false information on the game case. The Wii U gamepad is just so bulky. After being disappointed in the pro controller I was also very disappointed in the actual gameplay. Very boring and repetitive. I played maybe a total of a half hour and felt like I was doing the same thing over and over. I personally think that this game is way, way, over hyped and over rated by companies. IGN gave the game a 7.9 out of 10 and I think that was being very generous. There are some great games for the Wii U, Splatoon is not one of them.

Great game for kids

Kids played it for a day

They have not picked it up since. Really cool online play and the concept is great. Just did not hold their attention vs. all the other distractions this summer.
