Great for all ages. Pretty awesome take on paintball. There are definitely some things that are a little strange - squid kids, but it's highly addictive once the game is on. The fact that you are trying to not only tag other people with paint, but to cover the ground with paint in a bid to control as much territory as possible lends another level of strategy,

When you first put the game in, it seems pretty shallow. But, the more you play, the more addicting it gets. Smooth gameplay and simple mechanics are awesome. Plus Nintendo's putting out free DLC on a regular basis with guns, maps, and modes.

Nintendo has created one of the most unique shooters in years. A colorful, zany, nail-biting experience that will keep you coming back for more.

I am just getting on the bandwagon, but I am loving this game so far. My young kids love watching, and want to start playing as well. I also like that Nintendo continues to update the 'world' of Splatoon to keep people coming back.

This is definitely one of the best original games Nintendo has put out in years! It's just plain fun to play. So so so much fun! Weather you play alone, with friends, or online, it's just fantastic. So, are you a kid or a squid?

Splatoon is very addictive with a great variety of weapon types and heavy sense of fashion. There is only one multiplayer mode available now with more coming soon. But it's still a fun and addictive mode.

I typically play games for a more mature audience, but every once in a while my kids will want to play as well. This game is a nice change from other kid games and is rather fun to play.

I play it, my kid brother plays it, my wife plays it. Its just good clean fun that works for everyone. A shooter thats not really about shooting is a nice change of pace. Its not the best game single player, but online or with a group of people, this game really shines.

Fast paced game that keeps you coming back for more. I am not at all in to shooters, but this game provides a new take on the third person shooter genre. Hours and hours of fun.

Final a great game for the Nintendo Wii U that is not Mario baeed. It is a great game all based on how much paint you can get to cover an area of the other team. The only real issue I have with this game is that there is no true multiple player options.

Nintendo took a huge risk making this game and it paid off greatly. For one of there only new IP's to come out in years this game is truly a hit and my choice for GOTY.

Fun, innovative, and has that Nintendo polish all over it. If you own a Wii U and enjoy games like Smash Bros and Mario Kart, Then Splatoon is a must have. Buy it!

I have 2 boys, ages 6 & 10, that absolutely love playing this game! It's refreshing to see such a fun game with no violence involved. I highly recommend!!

I have a hard time stopping playing this game, especially the multiplayer. It's nice to have a shooter game be more than just focused on shooting.

I don't really like multiplayer shooters but I love this game. It's a competitive game but it doesn't feel competitive to me it just feels fun.

When I first saw the trailer from this game, I had NO interest in it. As an owner of the game now, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Well done Nintendo!!

This is one of the must-own games of the Wii-u. It offers very accessible multiplayer that should entertain even entry-level gamers.

Didn't expect much from this weird want to be first person shooter but Nintendo somehow did it and name this game worth checking out. I didn't play it a ton but it was nice when I wanted to kill some time.

Played the game for the first time at WonderCon and was mildly satisfied. Then the testfire went live and I loved the gameplay

Being Nintendo of course they make a hyped game $60, luckily if you're in the program with BB, you'll get 20% off new games. The game is very fast paced and fun. I won't compare to other games like most people have but this game is it's own special game and claps for Nintendo for doing that. Try it out with a friend's copy or maybe if BB has a demo for Splatoon before paying full retail price, I recommend buying this when it goes on sale in a few months. You're not missing out on anything buying it now. But the game is suppose to get summer updates to the game to give it more weapons and game modes. So hopefully by then it gets a price drop from BB or Amazon or whenever you buy games.
