Really Fun Take on a Shooter
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Splatoon is so much fun. It's refreshing to play a shooter game that isn't a Call of Duty esque clone. The single player is there with different missions to play, but I would highly recommend this game if you have an internet connection. Online, there are different game modes to play and maps which both do rotate which encourages playing on different days. There has been great support for this game with a number of free updates with new maps and guns. Awesome game.

Top 5 Wii U games

You won't find squid kids in a Call of Duty game, nor will you find this brand of humor and genuine sense of whimsy. Everything about this game is bright, colorful and magical in a way that reminds me of Disney World. Definitely give it a shot, especially if you think that shooters have become bland and generic in recent years.

Currently it lacks features and content, but hopefully my opinion changes because the game will be receiving additional maps and other game modes (free) throughout the summer via game updates. The amiibo for the game also act as dlc with new clothes and challenges, but I don't know how much or if they're worth the $35 for the 3-pack

Great game, amazing concept,and all around fun

This game relies on wifi as most of the time you will spend it playing online. Anyways, there is a reason Splatoon was awarded Game of the Year Award for 2015. Nintendo ventures into the world of shooters. returning with this little golden game. It has creativity. depth, and fun for all ages. :)
