This game was so amazing. When I first heard about it I thought it was going to be interested but once I started playing man how much fun it was. The ranking system was a bit hard though even at my level, but normal games were a blast especially playing with friends and painting your turf.

My 7 year old daughter loves this game. We fight over whose turn it is to play next.! Good online play.

I love the multiplayer action, pretty much the only reason I bought it. It reminded me of the old tony hawk games when you had to bust moves in order to color the turf.

My 10 year old son loves this game, especially splat fest. He'd like to be able to communicate with others using a headset, which isn't currently an option for this game.

I bought this for my room mate and we've been playing it together. Lot of fun, would buy again.

This game gets it all right, the single player, the online multiplayer, the Amiibo integration, all of it. The graphics are great and the much-doubted motion controls work like a charm. This is truly a gem and a must own for all Wii U owners and gamers in general.

i love paintball guns and this was my number one on my list to get. i just wish it had local multiplayer and not have to play online to play the maps.

Most online shooter type games out there you may not want to play around children, but this is a great one that you don't have to worry about. Very fun game and one of the must buy exclusive games for the Nintendo Wii U.

This game is total awesome. The texture, the turf war and being able to buy outfits and gear. I like how they can turn into squids during battle times. It's a fun game and keeps the gaming family happy.

Amazing game, it's new it's interesting, it's something you just don't want to put down after you start. Both story mode and online play keep you interested the entire time.

great game but multi player could do more than just turf war

Splatoon is a friendly competitive shooter that's enjoyable for everyone. Great alternative to those FPS on the rival game systems.

I'm not a big gamer and I've only had Nintendo consoles. The usual first-person shooter games don't really do it for me but Splatoon is fun. It may look like it's only for kids but so do all of Nintendo's games... but don't let that stop you! Online play is my favorite, teaming up with three others players against another team of four. I've had a lot of fun turning into a squid, painting the ground my team's color, and mowing down opponents. You'll become addicted very quickly. Now I just have to find those Splatoon Ambiio...

Tight controls, smooth gameplay, great maps, and a interesting take on the online shooter game in general. Not just for kids.
