I bought this game for my 13 year old daughter and she has been playing it like crazy. I've seen reviews from adult gamers that like it just as much. If you have a Wii U and can play online, there's no way you should skip this game.

I loved the game, it is a challange. The colora make it playful and the multi player makes it the fun it really is. :) I reccomend it! The movement and the camera need a little getting use to, but all in all it is an awesome game!

At first I didn't think I was going to like this game, even the idea sounded boring, but truth be told. Nintendo got me hooked! Can't stop playing this game.. I'm level 15 now. 9 kills, 0 fatalities. Best record I've had thus far!

Nintendo took a fun and creative platforming game and turned it into an amazing online shooter. There is a lot of depth in trying to paint the area. The single player campaign serves as a great platforming adventure as well.

I bought this game for my boys as they wanted to play a shooter game like daddy has, and they both love it, and it is easy for them to use and understand, plus I don't mind playing it with them so it can have cross appeal.

I'm not much of an online player, so I avoided this title for a while. But I bought it on a whim, and suprisingly enjoyed the single player component an enormous amount. Definitely one of favorite campaigns in a shooter game

Nintendo has been able to turn the first person shooter genre into an enjoyable experience. Similar to Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, we now have another FPS that removes the blood and gore and pokes fun at killing. The cell shaded graphics keep the environment friendly and both of my kids find the game to be extremely fun.

I can't recommend Splatoon enough. It's bright, colorful, has a great soundtrack, and multiplayer is downright addicting. The ultimate goal of inking the most ground makes it so much more fun than your traditional shooter.

I had my doubts about this game, and then I saw the reviews, and then I saw people playing in on Twitch. As soon as I got my hands onto this game, it was love at first SPLAT! Do get this game, it is now one of my favorites!

I cannot overly express how much fun this game can be! Team-based combat without violence and gore--those elements replaced with a variety of paint-spraying, rolling, layering and exploding devices. The network connection for a worldwide match is incredibly quick. The "story" mode is a lot of fun, too, and while it may have been an afterthought, there's many hours of additional play to be found there. The accessory feature is fun (reminiscent of many a mobile game structure) and the fact that each type of accessory (weapon, hat, shirt, hair, shoes) allows you to play a kind of character alchemy to find the combo that'll yield the most maximum ink-based damage. I look forward to more and more DLCs with new battle maps. This game should be getting better and better.

solid game play, snappy online connection, lots of weapon and gear upgrades; most of all its great game for both hardcore and casual gamer which is hard to come by, especially for a shooter. Its a must buy for a Wii U owner.

This game is addictive fun for the family. It would be even better if multiplayer battles were more than 2 people. The bright colors and fast gameplay make it good for a quick pickup game and sharing of turns among kids.

This is a game like non other! It is fun, addictive, colorful, and frankly I'm happy that the good folks over at Nintendo continue to push the envelope with their creative, yet innovative titles. Definitely a must-have.

This game is fun for any age. I'm an adult and so sick of your typical shooter. This game is a breath of fresh air for those looking for a change. The on line gameplay works very smooth and it's free. Great game all around.

I love this game, but can only play it in short stints. I do get a little bored with it if I try to play it for too long, as there are only 2 levels available for "Regular Battle". I haven't had any lag issues, and it's easy to level up. It's also nice to see that as a low level 5, I can compete with the level 50's without issue. Level only opens up different weapons/gear available. 2 playing on the same Wii U is sad, you can't connect to the internet for large battles. It's just the two people, one has to use the Wii U game pad while the other uses the TV. That really gets boring fast. I'd like to see the ability to connect 2 people from the same TV to the internet, even if it's on a separate battle type. Once I get to level 10, I open up more battlefields for single player online through "ranked battle", hopefully that makes it more interesting. For now, I play a few rounds, put it down for an hour, pick it back up and play a couple more battles. Don't get me wrong, I still love it and would buy it again. It's just highly repetitive. Hopefully future updates open up more options.

It's been awhile since I've had this much fun with a game. I've never been much for FPS's, but this game has held my attention for months. Colorful, playful, casual, competitive, and just good ole fun. An instant classic.

My boys and I love this game and its basic concept. However, it comes with little to no instructions and I have to believe there's more to the game than a single player option. Other than that, the whole family has enjoyed playing and spraying ink all over the place. All of the challenges have been fun to play as well.

My boyfriend and I got this game since we heard good stuff on it from a friend. Even though it is geared towards children, it is still a fun game to play as an adult as well! I would highly recommend trying out this game!

Purchased this game along with others for 3 grandkids. ..ages 5-8. ...this is the one that the 5yr old migrates to when it is her time to choose a game. ..she is able to play with ease & with little to no assistance

It's a third person shooter, but the MP maps and concept is totally new and the best part it's fun. Every Wii U owners needs to get this game as its a must buy. Totally fit for all age groups and is fun and entertaining.
