Unique and fun. Online play is cool. The local multiplayer is not as good. The experience with players using different controller types can lead to uneven competition.

I didn't expect to enjoy the game as much as I do. It's a good shooter game that anyone can play since it's not showing real guns or blood, and the mechanics are awesome.

The perfect game that still has the familiar FPS feel with a twist. Clean, fun and ready to jump into without any experience. Either paint the map or splatter your enemies to win. Fairly straight-forward game, it does not require a lot of skill or talent.

My 5 year old and I love this game. It is simple to get going, but harder to master. Great addition to the Nintendo line. Only wish local play supported more players.

this game is great because it uses paint instead of bullets + the main object is to cover the turf rather than rewarding for shooting your opponent. Great Family Game!!!

It feels like Nintendo is finally coming around to online multiplayer. It's only 2015. Maybe by 2021 they'll use Blu Ray. The game is simple and yet solid. Well done.

This game is one of the best 3rd person shooters I've ever played, and it's on the Wii U. Surprising! This game has what it takes to become one of the most competitive games in the gaming scene. It's unique, colorful, and fun. There are a few quirks that need adjustments or features that could be implemented in the future, but this game is in the beginning stages and its developers are constantly pushing out new content as fast as they can. So far, we've already have 2 new maps, and on June 20th will be the first ever in-game event, "Splatfest". If you haven't gotten this game already, you're missing out!

Played the test run of this game and had to buy it. Looks like a kids game because the cartoon characters and paint flying around bit is a great fun game for everyone.

At first i didnt really get into this game until the update they did. this game is alot of fun. no matter what modes u play its a blast and its well worth the money.

I purchased this for my 10 year old who loves this game. She was a little confused with the game when she first starting playing but as soon as she got hooked up with the online playing the game takes another step up. Awesome game when playing online!

Splatoon is the sort of game that doesn't get made too much any more. It's an original property, loaded with vibrant color, new ideas, and innovative gameplay mechanics. It's a hybrid between a typical online shooter, and a 90's Nickelodeon game show.

My 7 year old lives it. I played a little bit and it's pretty enjoyable. I love how its a fun spin on the whole Call of Duty genre games. Just good old clean fun!!!

the game overall is very fun, great graphics. It's not something I see anyone over the age of 12-13 playing very long. The 1 big thing I did not like is my son and I wanted to play 2 player, but you need a different controller to be able to do that.

What a unique and fun game. You can play a first person 'shooter' without any of the violence. Now if I only had better teammates so we could win a few matches...

This game features a welcoming aesthetic, crisp graphics, and a solid 60FPS. It's one of Nintendo's best ips in years and a fantastic TPS for all ages. Stay fresh!
