I tend to hate online games that are played with other people, especially battle games. However, this game is thoroughly enjoyable. It can be learned really quickly, but it is incredible fun no matter how far you've progressed.

Nintendo's version of a shooter turned out beautiful! The ability to turn into a squid and shoot your enemies with ink made a great strategic game!

My son has so much fun playing this game. He loves it so much especially the online challenge. The graphic is great compared to other Wii U game.

This is the most fun I have had in an online game in years! It has the competitiveness of the Call Of Duty games but not the frustration that comes when an average player or newbie gets smoked by diehard experts! Anyone can play this game and have fun playing online. I have not even played the story mode yet since online is so great! Lots of accessories so far to upgrade your player and online seems pretty reliable, not many disconnects. A must buy for Wii U owners and another great reason to buy a Wii U if you are thinking about getting the system!

Splatoon is an awesome game. My son and I enjoy playing together as well as online versus other players. I would definitely recommend it to others

I am enjoying this game a lot. At first I was a little disappointed in the rather small selection of maps / levels and variety of weapons avaliable but they've already released the first update adding more of both of those.

Nintendo finally releases a game worth buying. Like every other wii u owner, i'm still waiting on zelda; but this atleast helps kill the time.

This is a fun game, I like the mechanics and controls. I like the goal of spreading the paint. It's challenging without being too hard. It's good for all ages but the youngest may have issues with some of the controls.

my son who is 5 asked for it and he can't get enough of it. To the point that he wants a splatoon birthday party. My wife loves the game too.

despite the fact that this game has no team chat it still has some of the most fun I've had on the Wii U by far. it's just super colorful and addicting. if you have a Wii you give this game a shot I think you'll like it.

When the first images of the game came out, It looked so good and I really wanted to play it. After getting myself a lot of RPG and other lengthy games, I decided Splatoon would have to wait. Then I saw the Nintendo Championship and this game was on the event and I just fell in love! Still, my backlog was pretty stuffed. Fortunately, my wife decided to give me this game as a present and THIS GAME ROCKS! I haven't played any other game since and it just keeps getting better; new free DLC, Splatfests, etc., make this game so much fun.

Splatoon for the Wii U is a great family, fun filled game. All of my kids like this game and I think it's fun to play too. Would recommend.
