Splatoon's a great foray by Nintendo into a new genre, and it does so splashingly. It's a great game for all ages, and despite it being a third person shooter there's no real violence. Heartily recommended.

My 5 and 6 year old boys love it. If you want a multiplayer game for your kids that does not involve killing others this is it. As an adult I prefer the cookie cutter multiplayer clones that every man plays.

A great new original game from nintendo. Currently a little light on features, but frequent free updates are adding ton of content.

Fun multiplayer but short on game modes. No online for multiple players from the same console. Only local multiplayer is one v one.

10/10 fantastic game would ink again! The Wii u is the most used console in my house and its games like this that make it that way.

Its simply just fun to play. That's what Nintendo likes to make. The new take on shooters with some interesting elements. My only complaint would be the lack of maps which is something they are working on.

This game takes me back to a more innocent time of video games. Like most games on Nintendo consoles, this one is family friendly, has a multilayer (2 players) and is a lot of somewhat innocent fun. There are a few game modes. One that is the arena type where it is an online multiplayer where you try to cover the ground with the most ink. Then there is the local multiplayer where you try to shoot out the balloons that pop up in the map. Then there is what seems to be the sewer, almost like a story mode where you have to get keys and do rescue attempts and etc. I initially bought this for my 8 year old daughter to play but I have found that my wife and I play it just as much. Even when she is gone at times.

Fun and easy for my kids to play and understand. Easy to start but there is a little room for mastery if the mood strikes you.

My son loves it and enjoys the competition with other players. Not violent but still full of action and fun. Big plus in my book.

Splatoon is one of the best titles on the Wii U. It is fun for everyone of all ages and can be played casually or competitively.

This game offers a new theme on single shooter games. Is fresh and entertaining. I could spend hours playing and is kif friendly

The man draw is the online component. The campaign is great but with only 27 levels can be won within a few hours. Online is a lot of fun though and will add a lot of hours if you are into playing online.

This game's pretty fun for what it is. It's bright, fast paced and you get to make a mess. I haven't played it as much as I'd like to yet so I'm sure there are a lot of great things I haven't discovered.

Fast paced, shooter. Fits very well with the Nintendo family of games. Frequent updates to enhance game play. Easy to pick up.

Bought this game for my kids but I love playing it too. It's easy enough for the little ones but challenging enough for adults.

It is really fun when you have more than 2 people playing. It is always action packed and it's a quick play which means you can pick it up anytime and put it down whenever you don't have time to play.

A lot of fun for the whole family! One thing thought does need a special set up for the controller. I didn't know there were controllers other then the standard wii and nunchuck but apparently there is.

The game is excellent and fun to play online. Sure, there's not much content, but there are a ton of free updates all the time!

This game is great. We have so much fun playing this game with every family member.

I purchase this game for my eight year old nephew. He loves it. He continuously choses to play it over all his other games.
