Splatoon has a wide variety of paint-splatting tools for multiple play styles. If you're a beginner at shooter games, you can use rollers or splatershots and simply cover as much ground as possible. More experienced players can take out foes from a distance with chargers. There are multiple ways you help your team win even if your aim isn't the best.

Other than Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8, if you own a Wii U, you must own Splatoon for online multiplayer action. It's fun, easy to learn, has customization and online play is fast and full of challengers from across the globe. Great for players of all ages and skill levels!

While my kids love Splatoon a lot they are forced to play with the Wii U pad until we can buy some Pro Controllers so they can play together. My son asked for this game for his birthday and I knew a little bit about the game and knew it was appropriate the thing I didn't know is that the Wii motion controller w/nunchuck isn't compatible so I have to purchase a 3rd different kind of controller. (which if nintendo does this again the Wii U will be my last purchase of a nintendo console.)

The "campaign" mode gives you a solid footing to get used to the controls and how to use your gun(s). The online is where its at! Able to choose from ink sniper rifles, automatics, splat guns, rapid fire, rollers, etc. You'll keep coming back trying to get the perfect gear that gives you abilities to come up with the bet strategy to win the game.

This is the most fun I have had with a shooter since Halo 3.
