Liking it more than I'd thought! It's really fun !

FUN game on the WiiU fun for all ages! I have spent several hours playing the game since I have bought it.

My 2 boys love this game, they say it's very fun and entertaining

Just because its a wii U games doesn't mean it can't be hardcore. The colorful world and unique art design maybe misleading at first but a coordinated team can run laps around you. That's not to say new people can't join in and have fun too. I've enjoyed it very much and young or old there is fun to be had by all.

I don't usually playing online shooting games, so I don't have the greatest aim, but in this game none of that matters! As long as you're splashing ink anywhere and everywhere, you're doing great! At the same time, if you have played online shooters, you can also get technical when playing online. Highly recommended!

This is a super fun game and very addictive! Single player missions are pretty good but the online 4 vs 4 battles are more fun. Wish there was support for more numbers of local multiplayers since the 1 vs 1 is not fun at all. So many weapons to choose and so many ways to customize special powers. Overall 9/10 rating!

This is a great game - The one thing that would make it better is a multi-player mode other than online.

Aside from a clean family friendly 3rd person shooter the game has tons of charm and creative and modern character design and with that a modern pop punk soundtrack akin to jet set radio that is beyond excellent. I an worried that console multilayer game communities never hold up but I have cofidence in this game

Great game from Nintendo, the menus are a little poorly designed but it doesn't detract from the fun

It's a great and fun Arena style game give off a more kid friendly version of Monday night combat vibe

My grandson loves this game. We have to put a time limit on him because he likes the game so much.

For multi play, you need an extra controller, other than the game pad or standard wii u controller

This game is fun for all the family! Easy to pick up and play doesn't get boring! Fun for all ages.

Why am I writing this when I should be playing Splatoon? So should you. So stop thinking of purchasing it and buy it already. *If my wife was reviewing this game she might not give it as good of a rating. But she's just jealous that it's taking my time away from her. Splatoon will be my new wife soon enough.

This game is awesome. The online works well and the twist on third person shooters is original and "fresh". I love being able to just pick up and play this game for a few rounds. It also gives you a sense of being important to your team even if you're not the most skilled, which really helps with its appeal.

I've been having fun with this and the kids been having fun. It was a great fath er s day present.

So when I saw a black friday sale on Splatoon I had to jump into it because of all the positive review the game was getting. Most points that are mentioned hold true as for a shooter its great for young kids and young adults. There is strategy and just pure fun spreading your color paint everywhere. However the lack of being able to use a Pro Controller and the limited control options hold it back from being a 5 star game.

Super fun and addicting game. it puts a twist on the shooter genre in that your kills don't matter that much since the objective is to cover the stage with ink. Lots of free DLC support from Nintendo over several months which have introduced new stages, weapons, and game modes. It's a great new IP.

I have never been a big fan of first person shooters due to the always accelerating online competition. It makes it nearly impossible for a casual player to keep up. This game gives everyone a chance to be great and with a kid friendly atmosphere so my son can enjoy it too. A must buy if you own a Wii U.
