Game is a shooter for kids. Makes use of innovative ways of loading your weapon. Very fun game

The idea of Splatoon is a lot of fun. The downside to the game is that in order to look around with your character, you have to move the Wii tablet controller in the direction you want to look. Just a little bit confusing at first. I would recommend this to a friend with children, but would need to explain how the game works to them as well.

Its a fun and flawed game. There could be more to do out of the box but overall its still fun.

Leave it to Nintendo to reinvent the wheel. They've taken the rather stale online multiplayer shooter genre and made it unique, colorful, and fun for all ages! Amiibo support is included. It's a shame Nintendo's system has fallen into third place with great titles like this in its arsenal.

Fun game when played online, but single player mode is lacking. Unique concept for a game.

An online shooter akin to paintball, Splatoon, the latest original IP from Nintendo since Pikmin (2001), is a fun online romp that is not only safe for small children but intense enough for the most experienced of players.

This is a great game and you can expect nothing less from Nintendo. The only thing that could make it better have more to do with the console and platform Nintendo has created. Xbox and play station have done an amazing job at making it simple to join your friends games and chat with them in the game. Not having this functionality means having a separate device just to talk to the friends you are playing with.

This is a good game for fans of online multiplayer. It is a colorful and unique take on the shooter genre. It controls well and will provide a lot of hours of fun. The single player campaign is short but fun. I would recommend it to those who are interested in the multiplayer aspect.

Nintendo has finally done the impossible...make a shooter that's wonderful for all ages. No gore, no blood, and no cussing from online chats that usually plague shooters. It also has a great amount of depth for being a game for all ages, too. Splatoon surprises and delights for everyone.
