Splatoon really is amazing. Even with the small amount of content in the box, Nintendo has outdone themselves with the constant flow of new, and free updates. The core game itself is a blast, and the design is original and fresh. If you have a WiiU, this is one of the must have games.

I would have never spent $60 on this game, but it is definitely worth the $35 Black Friday price. My kids love it, but it will probably be one of those games that once the novelty wears off they won't play it anymore.

This game is great for everyone, it's colorful and fun looking for children, and exciting and challenging enough for adults. While it does lack communication tools with teammates, the games are so short they're not as necessary as one might think, which also keeps it child friendly.

Splatoon is a very satisfying shooter to play. The squid mechanics make movement smooth and tactical. The visual and audio style is also great. I wasn't sold on this game when it was first announced, but I'm really glad I got it. Been having a lot of fun playing with my friends.

I picked this up.. its whats all the kids are doing this summer I guess ;) The single player game is pretty short, but the pvp portion of the game is fun, and my son is having a good time saving and spending on outfits and guns in-game. Its like TF2 with less hats, but more shirts.

Interesting take on a FPS style game. Not sure how much i'd play but its interesting.

I love that the online modes for Splatoon are more about the objective rather than going for kills. This makes the game more accessible for all and relieves some of the pressure that current shooters bring. I love relaxing with this game and playing a round or two to wind down.

There's only a few game modes right now, but Nintendo will slowly be adding free DLC throughout this summer which will include new maps, weapons, game modes, and online options for playing with friends. It's an easy game to get into that's a challenge to master and never gets old.

This is a great entry point for young gamers to learn how to play online shooters.

I enjoyed playing Splatoon very much despite having become tired of the FPS genre over the past few years. A little twist, like painting territory vs shooting people, can make a big difference. There is a lack of modes available, but more are coming. Still, I would have enjoyed all of the content being on disc and available from day 1. Feelings may change in the future, but for now, a great game.

Run and shoot ink all over the place it's fun and goofy and anybody can play it.

The game is actually a lot of fun. Good for kids also my 8 year old son loves it!

This is a family friendly shooter that adds tons of new possibilities thanks to the ink mechanics. It is currently the shooter to beat when it comes to quality and presentation. If you were a child in the 90's this game's aesthetic and style was custom made for you as well.

My boys are always looking for shooter games but most are too violent for their age. Splatoon offers the shooter experience without all the blood and gore. It offers a wide range of scenarios and ability to play 1 on 1 or with a group. I am very pleased with this purchase.
