I really love this game, the kids are the ones that play it the most, but it's really addictive and well designed. They always have fun events going on, and it's a great alternative to a shooter game for the younger kids.

This is an excellent game for younger gamers who can enjoy competitive "shooting" without all the violence. But be aware there are very few maps and modes, and that he online connectivity is a bit spotty at times. You really need a strong internet speed and signal for the game to work properly. Otherwise it's good fun!

Nintendo always does things their own way and this is a unique way to do an online shooter. I will just say that it is creative and different and fun! Its like a combo of Jet Set Radio, with TeamFortress and Mario Sunshine.

A Nintendo twist on the shooter genre, and it's great. Single player is fun, but relatively easy, until you get to the challenging final boss. But, multiplayer online is the heart of this game and it doesn't disappoint.

One of the best games for the WIIU, and my kids love to play everyday. They get to play online and create cool drawings that are sometimes posted on the walls of the game. Highly Recommended, if you own a WIIU console.

Splatoon is a fun shooter from Nintendo. Online play is pleasant and there's virtually no lag. In the past, Nintendo has fumbled with online offerings, but have improved with this title and Smash Wii U. I took a star off since there's no option to use only the Wii U pro controller and I hate Gamepad controls.

If you are like me and don't have a great internet connection you will probably miss out a lot on this game. Even though the single player quests are pretty short the game is very fun and mechanics are awesome!

My 9-year-old really likes this game. He plays it often and laughs often while playing it. The online gameplay against others is a great feature. He and his 11-year-old friend play it together and have a blast.

The Wii U console is great in quality but lacks on quanity, this game is an amazing new IP from Nintendo, though if you have poor internet connection I would not recommend it due to its large online mp component

my 8 year old really , really wanted this game so I trudged to Best Buy to grab it. I can always count on Best Buy to have what I need!! This is a very creative, fun game for him as well as my older son and I.
