This game is a wonderful "shooter" for the Wii U. One of the best multiplayer games for the console, as well as one of the best multiplayer games on all currents consoles. Great game for Adults and Children.

Splatoon is incredible. A game which looks very fun and simple at first glance, is actually quite deep with a lot of weapon and gear loadouts. If you enjoy shooters, then you should really give this a chance!

This game was a surprise when it was first announced at E3 and Nintendo has delivered a unique shooter. I don't normally like shooters, but this has completely different objectives and style from the others.

I love this game and found it to be a breath of fresh air but it feels incomplete only a hand full of maps and weapon types. Support and updates are expected but they seem like filler rather than much needed new content. I hope for big changes.

This game is pretty much the new IP that carried the Wii U before its death. It's unique and original idea of squid kids inking turf and swimming in ink on ground and up walls is just crazy and awesome, very clever!! There is a fun story mode, tons of clothes you can obtain, and an awesome 4 vs 4 online modes, which is just pure fun, and the best part is getting your friends together for some inking turf fun. This is a must have for the Wii U.

This game is amazing! Online matches are quick enough that you can play with friends just passing the controller around for local play. The campaign is fun and helps learn basic mechanics for the game.

I am glad Nintendo is finally taking online focused games seriously. The amount of free updates this game has gotten is amazing and there is no sign of them slowing down. A must own for Wii U owners.

What isn't there to say? It's family fun done in a third person perspective that's as much fun online as it is offline. Yeah this game SHINES online. Do yourself a favor: if you own a Wii U get this

Finally a great competitive shooter for the wii u that isn't a first person shooter. There's even a single player mode as well if you're not into online gameplay, but be forewarned, it's very shallow.

Nintendo took a risk with this new IP and it paid off immensely. Splatoon is creative, colorful, fast-paced, and most of all, BLAST TO PLAY answer to other shooters. I guarantee after only a few matches you'll be addicted. Great for young kids (simple "Turf War" mode) all the way up to intense competitive players (the "Ranked Matches"), and fun for all. Reminds me a lot of Nickelodeon 90s cartoons, in a good way :) Try it out and you won't regret it!

I love this game. It is fun incarnate, this is what video games should be like in this "hardcore and mature era." Sadly sometimes the onine service is terrible but outside that everything is good.

This is a great game for anyone looking to play a fun online shooter. The online play runs smoothly , the game looks beautiful, and it is easy to keep playing over and over because it is so much fun.

Mainly purchased for my kids ages 6-13. They could spend hours playing this game if I let them. It sets up games with other players via the Internet so I had to bump up my connection speed because the games kept dropping. I have even tried my hand at playing and it can get a bit addictive.

This game is a blast for both kids and adults. Online multiplayer is fast paced and fun. Offline single player game is also very well done and teaches the mechanics of the game. An instant classic.

My kids love this game. You can play against others online and there are lots of boards to play (randomly chosen), so each time is different.

My daughters calls the game a Call of Duty game for kids. While I have not personally played it, I watched my kids play and it looks very entertaining and fun. I would highly recommend the game.

This a good looking vibrant game that kids will like. The weapon of choice is a backpack that shoots paint, so there's not really any violence if that's a concern for you.

The morning of my nephew's party I got a phone call that Splattoon was all he'd been talking about. Everyone else had already gotten his presents, so it was procrastinating uncle to the rescue.

Very fun game overall great. the only thing I dislike about this game is there is no way to play the one player game with a regular controller. You have to use the gamepad in one player mode.

I love short, quick, beat the other team and beat the clock games! They don't get old because it's a new game very 5 minutes! Love this game!
