I have 9 year old Twins (Boy/Girl) that can't get enough of this game. It is great fun for the whole family and you dont have to wory about blood or bad language.

Amazing game, the main story is really entertaining, and the online mode makes the game perfect. Also with the updates coming up, the game will have more content.

The game seemed great from the previews/ commercials, but once again I am let down by the lack of multiplayer support. When will these game developers realize that not all gamers are down in a dark basement playing by themselves. I'm that house in the neighborhood that has all the neighbors kids here all the time, and they want to play multiplayer!!!!!!!!!!! They don't want to watch a single player game. Now in full disclosure there is a 2 player option on the game, but it is not the regular game, it's more of a balloon battle. I read that this game will save Nintendo, I don't think that is the case, my kids haven't played the game in weeks. Multiplayer is what my kids want!!!!!

My 6 and 12 year old daughters are totally addicted to this game! They have even stopped playing Minecraft in order to spend more of their game time on Splatoon.

Wonderful game even if there's not an overwhelmingly amount of content it still has a LOT of things to do. Online is fun and very stable. Community is hilarious.

It's a fun game but it sucks that the only part that you can play with multiple players is 1 on 1. You can't do battles or anything with 2 players/split screen. If it had that capability in the battles it would get 5 star for sure! Very fun!

I don't often buy Wii U games because I have a PS4 but this game is so much fun that it has taken my gaming time from my pS4 to play this. It's worth the buy!

This has kept my 8 and 10 year old son and daughter occupied since it launched at the end of May. The online play adds a new dimension to the Wii U experience.

This game from Nintendo extremely fun. It's a fresh breath of air for the shooter genre. Even though it doesn't have blood or gore, it has ink, and lots of it!

this is a very funny game, the only thing you must to know is: You need the pro controls to use it in multiplayer, you can't use the regular wii u controls!!!

Kids are having the best time. Non violent so even the kids that play the violent games are saying they are enjoying something different than killing things.

The game is good for all ages and can be enjoyed by anyone however I wish there was more diversity in the online maps and game styles. Also I wish the game could be played using only the game pad but other than that it is a fantastic game.

As a person in love with competitive fps, I wasn't expecting more then just a few hours of fun with friends. However, the novelty of this game got me hooked and truly surprised me! However, the lack of local play is extremely disappointing.

My son absolutely loves this game. He plays it nonstop. It's very bright and colorful. His only complaint is that he wishes it was up to a four player game.

Very fun game. The only issue is that you cannot create a private online room to play 1 on 1 with a friend online. Also, you cannot play two players online with one console. If they could create that option, it would make it much more fun.

Online matches are fun. I quite often find myself saying "one more match" and playing for another hour. Campaign is a fun addition but lacking replay value.

My kids will not quit playing it, and I cannot try it, so I am going to give it 5 stars because it is keeping them busy over the start of summer vacation...

The concept is simple, cover the landscape in your team's color. You get a choice of different applicators so you can roll, shoot and blow paint at everything. It's cute but gets redundant quickly. Kids like the team play and challenge.

Splatoon is a an online shooter unlike anything on the market and you would be hard pressed not to have loads of fun with it; definitely worth a purchase.

It's a neat little game and a great new IP from Nintendo. Hopefully we'll see more new ones since this was a big success perhaps they'll be less ambitious.
