Pros: Fun, Short Online Matches and a lot of Gear to buy. Cons: Online Connection problems, Unable to leave a lobby once your online and finally the fact that you HAVE to use the Wii Pad to play is not good.

Hours of entertainment. I have already gotten my moneys worth at level 17. Competitive online play. Best game on the Wii U. Get it!

My niece and nephew constantly asked me if I was getting Splatoon and while I initially did not, I decided to research and found a lot of people claiming Splatoon was a fun game to play with others. I decided to give it a chance and while it was fun the first few matches, the lack of local co-op meant that the kids got bored and frustrated easily. Playing by myself, I found the game to be lacking in content (which I realize they added as free DLC but it still doesn't really work for me). It's one of those games you play for a bit before moving onto a better and robust game.

I bought this for my grandson as an Xmas gift. He said great game and really loves it

It keeps the kids interested and they love it. As a dad I have the problem with the classic remote won't work. You need to buy the expensive control for them to play locally with each other. That's all.

I got this for my son for Christmas. He really likes the idea of paint shooting rather than bullets. More of a children call of duty game without the violence. Multiple player is really fun and kids can paint for hours. There are also other challenging levels they can play solo as well. Overall a very fun family game.

While seemingly sparse on content at first, the recent updates have bolstered the number of stages, weapons, and online modes.

Nintendo does it again with this new IP shooter.it's highly addicting with free content and new modes being made occasionally!

really fun game with a great design. must be played online to warrant the price tag though. Little features for off-life play.

Splatoon is a great game for the Nintendo WiiU. Among the best titles out for the system. An entertaining, fast paced game.

As a family, we have enjoyed the game, the only downside is we needed to buy a retro controller to have a second person play.

I was a little skeptical about this game but it turned out to be an EXCELLENT investment. Fun gameplay, flawless multiplayer.

My daughter loves it! It was fun to watch her play with her cousins in different part of the states. Very kid friendly game!

Good game to play. Me and my wife love it. Just wish it involved four players for local multiplayer. Also I had to get a Wii U gamepad controller as you cannot utilize the Wii U motion control soley.

Its a fun combination and silliness, Nintendo fans should get it, no question asked!

Fun game but I wish you didn't have to buy a special controller to play two player.
