If you played the original than you know that you are getting as far gameplay, some issues with remains but nothing that brought the fun meter down for me. Bought mainly for the kids and they loved it.

I bought this for my daughter, and honestly I thought it was going to be better than what it was. The controls aren’t user friendly, and the camera is buggy. It definitely could use a update in that area to keep up with the times. Also, was expecting a graphical overhaul, and it was nowhere to be found. Other than that you can swap between characters so that is a bonus, and you get a double jump which is a life saver for any platforming you may do. It’s worth a buy only if you can get it on sale.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my little one. Looks fun from what I saw while researching it. But will update once my little plays it and tells me how he likes it.

My 6-year-old likes this game a lot, although he runs into some challenges along the way that causes a lot of frustration. Would still recommend!

Battle for Bikini Bottom’s master looks fantastic, and works extremely well on the Nintendo Switch. No problems with lags, no system problems, overall a very quality game.

Basically, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is full of all kinds of weird little gameplay quirks that show this is just a reskinned version of a 17-year-old game. There’s nothing terrible about it, to be sure, but unless you’re coming in with fond memories of the original, you probably won’t find much here that’s worth your time.

This game brings me nostalgia growing up in 96 we would watch this all the time when it came out in 1999. Bought it for my daughter and she loved it

I had always hoped they'd remake this game. When I saw it for the Nintendo Switch I biught it immediately. So glad I did. Good game, grest memories. Very fun.

Fun game! Bought this as a gift for girlfriends nieces and they love it. Switch games tend to seldom disappoint.

What a wonderful update to a classic game! The colors really pop and you can see they really put some effort in trying to adapt the games for a more modern feel
