If you enjoyed the original, this is everything you'd want from a remake and a little more. It's simple, nothing fantastic or groundbreaking.

As a big fan of the original release, I was very excited to play Rehydrated. Playing it has brought me back so many memories that I forgot I had. While the Switch version isn't the best adaption of this classic, exploring Bikini Bottom as my favorite characters always feels great, even if the framerate and graphics aren't the quality we expect from remasters nowadays. The Switch version looks better in handheld mode, compared to the docked option. This is definitely worth $30 whether you played the original or you love Spongebob and want a platformer/collectathon game to play until you wait for the next big title to release.

Got this game for my son as a reward for doing well with his remote learning! He enjoys playing the game and getting the golden spatula.

Who doesnt love SpongeBob. Its a fun game, but could be more entertaining.

It's a fun game but it's a broken game. Several glitches are badly visible and at some point affects the gameplay. Hopefully they would fix it. Overall a fun good game.

Fun for the kiddies easy to play a lot of lives and checkpoints so you don’t have to start very far back fun game for little ones

I remember playing this on gamecube when i was little and now i can enjoy it again with a new coat of paint

Good graphics,pretty easy learning curve and my daughter really enjoys it. Was a good purchase in my opinion. Dont listen to the reviews a day one patch fixed the issues.

I have not beaten the game yet. I have a played a little bit. So far, it looks better than the original aesthetically, but is missing some of the original animations. And there are some weird optimization issues. Other than that it follows the original game. I think if you are a die hard fan of the original or just interested in the game, wait a little bit until it is patched. If you vaguely remember the original, like me, then I think you'll still enjoy it. I'd consider this a budget title.
