Great remaster of a classic game I had on the GameCube!!

I had this game before on previous generations of consoles, and it’s exactly how I remember it. Games back then were a little more challenging, and this one is exactly that! The graphics on the switch is great, and the playthrough is as well. I had an occasional game freeze and had to close in and out, but it might just be my switch being old. Other than that great game. Would definitely recommend if you want to relive your memories, or make new ones with this game.

I used to play this game on GameCube when I was a kid and bought it so I can relive my childhood. Love it!!

I love this game and I play it more than my son. I think it has great up to date images and graphics and it is user friendly.

I have played the original version of this game on the Playstation 2 and loved it. So I was very excited when I saw they were releasing an updated version. The upgraded graphics are excellent and the gameplay just as good if not better. If you are a fan of Spongebob and liked the original you will definitely enjoy this one.

A store associate worked very patiently with my grandson as he went through every game behind the customer service desk. The associate recommended this game to him. We are not disappointed! I purchased for his Birthday. Hours of fun. He loves it. Would recommend this game. My grandson just turned 9. He has a lot of games but this one is one of his favorite.

fun once you get used to what you have to do. Would recommend for older kids who have played video games a while.

For the most part, it’s the exact same as the original. Some tweaks made it worse along with having the same flaws as before. New players will enjoy it I think, but fans of the original shouldn’t be too excited. Oh, and the Switch version has horrible optimization. Get ready for minute long pause screens every time you die. Definitely go for a different platform if you can, like PS4 or maybe even PC.

It’s a remake of the 2003 game and it’s a good remake. The multiplayer is just tacked on not that great and you should not decide to get the game based on multiplayer. The single player is good you go to different areas that come from areas in the TV show and it’s an excellent platform omg game. Being priced at $30 is a good price for this game.

There was alot of hype for this remake of adventure game from the past. And I really was hoping for an amazing online multiplayer mode. While there is online play, you can only do it with randoms, and NOT your friends...which is baffling. Regardless though, the mulitplayer mode is pretty bare bones, hit detection is awful with deaths feeling very unfair, unlimited lives so it never feels like a challenge, characters severely unbalanced with Squidward and Robo-Plankton can mow enemies down with projectiles while the rest of the roster must use a hard to hit melee attack which often gets you hurt so why would pick anyone else other than the 2 projectile launchers is beyond me. The Story mode though is were the main attraction is. While not as polished as a game like Super Mario Odyssey, this is a pretty big game and will bring you that old school 3D platforming nostalgia. All in all, I love the story mode for 1 player. But do not buy this game for the multiplayer mode, even with online play co-op with randoms, it is currently awful. Spongebob Plankton's robotic revenge was so much fun with multiplayer in my opinion.

I loved this game when it first came out on gamecube and playing it again was a pleasure. I did experience some bugs and frame rate dips which is very dissapointing given how old this game is and how easy it should be to run, but hopefully they will fix it in future updates.

Bought for Grandaughter who loves SpongeBob SquarePants

Brings back to nostalgia for the old spongebob game that was on the original Xbox. This one was better though!

So I bought the wrong game....... lmfao my daughter actually wanted the Racing game that has SpongeBob on it.. however she said she'd play this one and actually found it enjoyable. My daughter is 15. It's actually a very vibrant game with funny commentary. A mistake purchase but my daughter is happy with it. :)
