I’d give zero stars if I could. Ring only cares about getting new subscribers. If you don’t pay them for a subscription you get a free month every time you connect a new device. If you buy 3 cameras they give you 3 months of professional monitoring free. If you’re already a paying subscriber you get no benefits at all. They say you get exclusive discounts but the devices are always more affordable (brand new) through 3rd party retailers. Any offers for 6 months of free monitoring or something akin will not extend your subscription. My alarm has gone off plenty of times in the last couple years with “professional monitoring” active and I’ve never once been contacted by their monitoring team. There’s no way for you to see notes from the monitoring team & they don’t contact you when the alarm is going off so how do we know they’re actually monitoring anything?! They’re not. So I’ve given them thousands of dollars for devices and hundreds in subscription fees for… the ability to store video clips. That’s it. That’s what you pay hundreds of dollars a year for. Do yourself a favor and invest in one of their competitors that allows you to store video locally. Don’t get tricked into an expensive subscription that RING doesn’t deliver on.

Why 3 stars because first I thought the battery life from the manufacturer should be almost full but unfortunately not because after the geek squad installed it less than a week the battery already out and other than that I thought this camera only need one battery but the reality tells different because there is another slot for another battery and ring doesn't provide it we have to buy that extra battery.

Nothing but regrets! it is constantly updating. completely worthless! Called ring to see if there was something that could be done. And if the camera was functioning properly? Ring rep said yes, that’s normal.

This camera is great. We like the motion detecting light and the video quality. It also has multiple options for batteries, wired, or solar. Love ring products. Been using them for a long time.

The Ring Spotlight Cam Pro Battery with 2K video is an excellent upgrade for home security. The video quality is impressively sharp, even at night, and the motion alerts are sometimes quick and accurate but are for the most part. The built-in spotlight and siren add extra peace of mind, while the rechargeable battery makes it easy to maintain without messy wiring. Setup is simple through the Ring app, and two-way audio works perfectly for quick communication. A great choice for anyone wanting powerful, wireless home protection. I thought the light would be a bit brighter but its good enough

I love my new camera picks up every motion and the night vision works great, great quality definitely recommend it!!☺️

So I have had some time to fully test these Ring cameras. Lets start off with the install. Very easy to install really if you can use a drill your golden . Setting up was a no brainer . The app is very basic and easy to navigate. I do recommend getting the solar panel to charge your device if you cannot place near a plug . They work well and stay charged. As far as the camera itself they lag when something has entered its field, but does manage to catch whatever is in its range. The nightime camera is good to a point, it does not focus well , even though i have it set at factory specs. Maybe iam missing something here. The main two cameras i have light up very well. When something enters its zone it will give great detail . Great products. Iam happy

Disclaimer: I got a chance to win a $400 gift card for this review but it has not impacted my opinion in any way. Overall the camera is great. It feels sturdy and was easy to install. Battery life is good but will change drastically depending on how sensitive the motion detection is and how much footage you want it to capture. My busiest camera pointed down my driveway toward the road gets about 30 days on a full charge with about 10 captures per day (30 seconds each). Video quality is solid. Sound quality is excellent. My ONLY complaint is that while is holds up outdoors and is not in direct sunlight or rain, the lense (or lense cover) develops condensation and fog occasionally and will blur the image a bit. It does go away on its own though.

It's an amazing electronic security camera. Even in dim lighting, it provides clear video clarity. The motion detection feature is excellent; it instantly notifies me when there is movement. I can watch my property from anywhere with ease thanks to the app's user-friendly UI and easy setup process. All things considered, I heartily suggest it to anyone searching for trustworthy home protection.

I love the quality of the videos and how it allows me to change whether I want the light. The only downside is that the battery drains faster.

I love it. I went with the battery one so that I could just install it myself. It was quick anf easy. Great picture and it been over 3 months with the same battery.

Camera works well, i suggest getting the solar panel so you dont have to recharge the batteries. I found I was charging them once every couple weeks. Great camera for the price

This is easily my favorite Ring product to date, and I am fully invested in the Ring ecosystem. Installed this quickly and easily on the exterior of my brick rowhouse located on a moderately busy downtown street. Setup was simple and I was able to easily integrate this into my Ring home security profile. Mounting was straightforward. Placing this on the corner of the house allows me to see the street, sidewalk, gate, and entire side yard of my home thanks to the wide angle the HD camera captures. Offers me peace of mind that any passerby who might be up to no good would be in full view of the camera. The speaker in this is LOUD. I tested it out on my partner who was gardening outside and he was quite startled by the volume, but would be incredibly useful to deter anybody who was unwelcome. One thing to note, this is NOT a floodlight. The lights on the camera are not very bright, and seemingly have no effect on the clarity of the video at night (which is already excellent in night mode)…more or less the lights are a feature that can be turned on to signal to somebody that they are on camera. This model runs on the standard Ring quick-release battery pack. It comes with one installed, and has a second compartment for another battery to be installed to lessen the frequency of necessary charging, which is amazing! Overall, I am obsessed with this offering from Ring. I often check in on the app just to see how busy the neighborhood is throughout the day while I’m away at work. Absolutely love it!

I am upgrading from the previous generation, and very pleased so far with the added features, camera, quality, video, quality, and detection, zones and system. Installation was very quick and easily integrated into my ring ecosystem. I highly recommend.

It has great definition! Sound clarity is great. The light on it its VERY bright!. Make sure u buy an extra battery for this thing it eats it up very fast.

Excellent Unit. Worked perfect right away. Added a solar charging panel and 2nd battery. This combo keeps it working just fine without having to run electrical wiring to it. Picture, sounds, speaker, motion detection and lights all working great.

Bought for in-laws for security at their property. Coverage is really good for front and back yard. Simple install with a hammer drill(brick). Good quality of vision and sound. Only issue was having to move their modem/router to get better reception for the devices. Think about getting wifi extenders.

We have had no problems with this camara and have been dependent on it to safeguard us and our home by supplying images on a consistent basis to identify problematic people or with incidents that involve construction. We have the ability to download these images to provide needed information and proof to addresses any problems.

Its a nice outdoor unit and the picture quality is excellent. Could be a bit brighter but still gives off ebough light to give seveal meters of light in each direction. Night vision is very good. Overall no compaints and im running with 8 cameras to cover all sides and interior of house
