Great for Small Businesses

Being able to accept credit cards is a great convenience for my clients and for me. With chip cards becoming the norm I decided to invest in the Square chip card reader. It was very easy to pair with my phone (Note 5). It's easy to use. The reader does what it's supposed to do...read the credit card info and transmit that info. I've had no problems whatsoever using it. It's worked flawlessly.

With older models you have to have it plugged into the USB hub that is attached to square stand. The USB provided is short but does the job. If you are using it on newer square stands and smart phones it connects via blue tooth. The square chip reader cradle is not required. If you leave the chip reader to charge over night it lasts a normal retail work day.

So Easy to Use!

I had just bought and setup the Square the night before the concert so I had never actually used it. It was SO easy to use. I was able to set up a menu with his CD's by name and program them with a price. When you customer picked out what CD's they wanted I just clicked on their option on my iPad. The Square App came up with total. The customer could swipe, tap or slide their card to process the payment. I was able to sell a lot of merchandise in a short amount of time. It was actually fun to use. Since this business requires a lot of travel, it is great that it is portable and easy to set up and use anywhere! Thank you!
