This is a great and easy to use contactless chip reader! I love Square and all the square products!

Unit linked quickly & easily to bluetooth - & functioned well to take credit card payments (with chip). It was my 1st time using a Square - & found it fairly seamless experience - EXCEPT: it didn't always prompt customer for EMAIL or PHONE - FOR RECEIPT! Note, this can happen if it's a repeat customer, but it is supposed to prompt NEW ones for phone/EM - for receipt. It worked correctly most of the time, but not *always* ... hope they address this soon!

I bought the square card reader and its safer to have the chip over the slider due to recent fraud.

I have had the Square devise for several years but decided to spend trhe money and get the chip reader for the next time I needed it and it worked perfectly! NO more swiping over and over again to get the little square to read the strip! Well worth the extra money to me!

Square is the best company to collect cards. This product works great and battery last very long.

The product is great, the only issue that I have had with it, is it loses connection easy. But overall it's been very useful.

This is an excellent device! It works very well and is super easy to set up. This particular package was of great value as its able to take all forms of payments. The only problem is that square's fees are a little high for credit cards but the ability to take cash with the drawer is great.

Had exceptional customer service and we understood all of the different types that they had. The trading that they are receiving helped us decide if we wanted to purchase something.

I bought this as an upgrade to the square magstripe reader I had been using for a while. I was already familiar with the square app and functions, I just needed to integrate the new chip reader into my routine. I also purchased the charging dock. This chip reader links to either of my square app devices​ (one is iOS, one is Android) via Bluetooth with no problem. When I have the reader in its dock & plugged in I never have trouble with it sleeping at inopportune times as other reviewers mentioned. It has increased my customer satisfaction with sales process since I now can read chip cards and offer Droid/Apple pay. It is also easier for me to use than the little magstripe reader.

Worked great right out of the box. It made our customers feel better using their chip card.

This device is absolutely great. The installation process adding the device to my phone was very fast and easy, for someone who is not tech savy . Going through the tutorial really helped me get the hang of operation the device. It was fun sending myself my first invoice.

Exactly what I needed! Taking contactless payments is so easy with this! Easy to setup, easy to use. Charge sends to last a good long while. I haven't had to charge it using it 6 hours straight.

Easy to use once you set up. Set up was confusing but once I went through the booklet a second time, got it connected. Compatible with new devices, not compatible with an older ipad.
