Now that most credit cards are using the chip instead of the swipe, this is a simple easy way to convert. Its safer and your protected against any disputes, and you get your money faster.

I am very satisfied with this device. It's very easy to use and it is so much faster than the PayPal triangle. Even the chip reader is quick - much faster than the credit card chip readers in most major stores.

It syncs easily and worked immediately - it was even charged right out of the box. A very useful product for anyone who might need to charge a customer for anything.

Got tired of having to manually enter Credit cards. If you’re credit card has the chip just push it in a it reads it. also no Cords or cables to connect to your phone.

I love love love this card reader. Between the card reader, mobile apps (iOS and Android) it is the best of the 3 I've used. The contactless / chip reader is FAST and easy to use. I prefer it over any other hardware/software combo. We use the reader for merch lines that can sometimes be endless during a rush. This card reader and service helps us keep the line moving as there is usually no lag in the processing and the app is ready to go again as soon as the transaction is complete. Other card reader/apps make you jump through a bunch of screens to start a new transaction once the previous one is complete. Square gets it and with a great design. Thank you Square!

This thing is great, connects with bluetooth so it is wireless. You plug in the credit card and it beeps and you are pair. Great idea, great ease, now if only Square would lower their rates.

The worse thing is not to be able to transact business because you're not relevant. The contactless and chip reader is the answer to accepting payments in all forms.

Very easy to setup. Fast and convenient way to collect payments. Works with chip cards, apple and and android pay, and has a magnetic strip reader too if needed.

The Square system is easy to use. It was very quick to authorize payments and worked well with an iPhone 7. This is my go to system for mobile payment processing.

We used this Square reader at our fundraiser and it was such a great tool that helped our donors to check out quickly.

Unit was recommended for my Laptop that I purchased at Best Buy to use to scan card for a access to Veterans Administration web site. I rated the product five stars because I am sure it would work on the proper equipment of the Geek Squad would help me figure it out, After attempting to get reader to work for a few hours I looked at the instructions. (all us guys do that last) The reader was not for laptops just phones or tablets. Best Buy was great about refunding my money and checking to see it they had any readers that were laptop friendly and they did not have one in the store.

I love the Square Chip Reader. It also came with the other attachment to slide a card with no chip. Money is deposited relatively quickly and I don't have to go to the bank.
