I'm an author and sometimes have to sell books at events. I've lost out on sales before because the customers didn't have cash. This card reader fixed that problem. It was easy to set up and use, it doesn't take up much room, and one charge lasted me all day. I also loved that it came with pieces that could handle cards with chips or without and that you receive emailed receipts of every transaction. So great!

Just got one Bluetooth chip reader for my private business. I found out when clients use chip rather than contactless reader, they would be hardly to dispute or charge back for the transaction. It happened to me once and hope none would do it intentionally to a local business and hard workers.

I have an Otterbox defender on my phone and I would have to take the case apart just to get the chip reader into the headphone jack and it was incredibly annoying. This card reader makes my life so much easier, I just have to remember to keep it charged. Also, there are still some cards running around that don't have a chip so you'll either have to keep your swiper around or enter manually. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

This was incredibly easy to set up using the Square app, very easy to switch between Bluetooth devices with a button press, and lasts well beyond a couple business days between charges.

Super convenient, easy to carry around, light weight, battery last always, and just a perfect way to accept payment with a brand that everyone feels comfortable using their card with.

Used this on the 1st day of transactions and everything went smoothly. Thinking of buying a second for another location and possibly upgrade. I tried this with my ipad and phone it it works great.

Love my square card reader. As a small business, this is very convenient when people ask to use their card. Usually I would have them tap their card on my phone but it doesn’t always go through so when I bought this, it was more useful and worked more efficiently.

This was so much easier to use chip cards with compared to the previous chip card reader Square had. There was only 1 person that used the contactless feature during my office fundraiser event. It worked well, but I’m unsure if there would be a lag or any snags if using multiple contactless charges in a row. I wish the reader wasn’t so expensive, but it is what it is.

Having used the old Square readers (aux/headphone jack device) for many years for my photography business, I was already familiar with the user interface of the Square app. This wireless reader is AWESOME. It’s easy to setup and even easier to use afterward. I love the fact that is has Apple Pay, which works flawlessly. The chip reader is also flawless and fast. And the fact that it’s Bluetooth and rechargeable is amazing. Definitely a well built.

Nice chip reader that works well once you get it paired with your device properly. It's fast and more secure than the slider I use for backup now. The charge does last a long time on it for my purposes.

I bought 4 of these Square Readers for my company because we have employees that sell product at events. They were previously forced to only deal in cash which cost us potential sales and increases the risk of cash being lost or stolen. The square readers can swipe, accept Apple Pay or Android Pay, and even read chips so the transactions are secure and less likely to result in subsequent chargebacks. The reporting is great because it shows all sales by each card reader - and you can enter All sales, not just credit card transactions. Highly recommend this product.
