I was missing out on sales at local craft shows because I only dealt in cash and I was afraid a credit card reader would be expensive and difficult to use. A neighboring crafter showed me how it worked and how much it cost so I bought one that evening at Best Buy and was up and running the next day with no issues or problems. I really didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with the simplicity and ease of use. My wife & I have a small business and our now former credit card device was a magstripe reader. We needed a device that would accept chip card payments & found the best one in the Square reader. It accepts chip card payments (easily) and contactless payments (which we haven't used yet). This product also includes a magstripe reader so we can still take payments from people who don't have chip cards. This is the best option available.

The square reader works great. I like its size and light weight. Also enjoyable is that when I purchased it, the cost was less than if I had purchased directly from square. This Square device was very simple to setup. I was able to swipe and dip credit cards. It’s very convenient.

Its very easy to set up to phone. Do not need wifi is bluetooth capable.

What I love about this chip reader is that you can use it across several devices. I need to use it with my phone and also my tablet. It won’t work on both at the same time but that’s okay. It’s rasy to set up through Bluetooth and the app instantly tells you it’s ready to go. The battery life is long as well. Keep it in your pocket if you don’t have the charging doc and you won’t lose it. It charges via a mini usb cord which comes with it so don’t fear if you have only Apple products.
