I use this device for accepting tips while driving for Uber. On many occasions, riders like to be able to reward outstanding service and be sure that I get the tip. Would be great for yard sales and other situations where someone wants to pay by credit card.

If you want to accept credit cards, this is the way to go. You must use it with the Square app. Set up is easy, and the box includes the chip reader version as well as the magnetic stripe reader

Square contactless and chip reader is ideal for those doing remote business transactions needed the capability to take not just chipped credit cards but the smartphone Pay options in today's world. Simple to setup and use and the fees associated with it are known up front.

This was so easy to use right out of the box with simple set up with your bank account. I would recommned the docking station to go with it, but it is not required. I was shocked that it took a chip read on my first try, its that easy.

I use it more often than I thought there is more and more chip credit cards and everyone's loves how a small shop can take the apple or samsung or Android pay. Highly recommend it to anyone using or planning on using the square stand.

This reader is great in that it reads RFID (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Etc.) and Chip Cards. -- It comes with their first generation magnetic stripe reader. If you are still using a Merchant Bank Terminal you really need to look in the mirror and ask yourself WHY? --- Like seriously, WHY?

It's a really practical and economical option to process credit cards for your business, it is not necessary to have a great knowledge of the product to use it, just connect it via Bluetooth to your tablet and it is ready to use. An excellent tool.

So easy. Fyi i had plugged it in overnight and it wouldnt turn on. Took it to geek squad, they plugged it in and 5 min later it worked. So if it doesnt work for u, just wait longer.

as a small business owner, using the Square to get paid has been so easy and fast. the process is very simple!

I absolutely love this product!! Easy to use just make sure it’s charge. The elderly don’t really have cash app, Venmo zelle etc so this comes in handy and makes them happy so it makes me Happy!

I had the original Square card reader to slide cards through. Now that many credit card companies have upgraded to chip cards, it protects me against fraudulent charges and gives customers peace of mind for their purchases. Also came with a micro USB cable to charge the card reader.

I use this when visiting clients. It is so fast to swipe the credit card through my Square and then they select either email or text receipt. And it's done in 15 seconds. I've used my Square for 3 years and never had any problems, I highly recommend it.

We were in need to take customers payments ASAP and this device did it! It was very easy to set up and we were receiving payments that same night! It takes a couple of days to get the funds and it charges a commission but it’s totally worth it!

Very easy set up, easy use also. Made taking payments easy tho now people can try to dispute payments even if you provided a service and square will hold your money for 90 days while it’s being disputed.

We purchased the wireless Square, magnetic strip reader and the base. We used the wireless card reader and it was absolutely flawless! Square enabled us to increase our sales $450! Highly recommended and so easy to set up and use!

I've been a Square customer for years but finally switched my entire business over instead of just using it for mobile purposes. The chip reader works at least twice as fast as the chip readers I've used in most other businesses. Highly recommended and much more cost effective.

Bought this back in July 2019 to replace an older card reader, Set up easy, fees are reasonable, and my customers aren’t waiting long period of times for the transaction to go through! Love everything square offers for small business.

I haven’t really used it yet but the setup was easy. I was able to do a practice charge using my credit card and it accepted it easily and all the right lights lit up and I got a chance to choose email or text for the receipt. The transaction debited one account and credited the other account with no problem. I will be using this at an event within the next two weeks and I think (hope) everything will go well.

My bank wanted me to fill out a long application and I had to get approved for their merchant services this is just plug and play no need to fill out long applications at your bank and the percentage rate is lower than the banks!
