Not that satisfied
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased 4 brand new JBL speakers and had them installed. The tech was a knowledgeable guy and did a good job for the most part. His carelessness on one of the speakers install led to it being damaged and not working properly. Followed up 20 mins after install and he claimed it worked perfectly when he installed. Did not suggest he take a look, yet passed the reason for a signal now being bad or that my radio was going out. I went to an audio install company and found that the speaker was damaged and nothing wrong with the radio or signal.

Appointment was cancelled

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, I had a great experience at the SW 3rd St store, one or 2 years ago, with a speaker installation. However, the guy who does these had an accident some weeks ago, and was not doing installs when I wanted to buy a new pair of auto speakers. I bought a pair of Kenwood speakers at the N May store, and had an excellent buying experience, but had to set up installation for about 3 weeks out. My appointment was for July 5, but I had a call after lunch saying their man was out for a family emergency. I understand that things like this can happen, but a month is too long to wait for a speaker install.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My installation appointment was canceled roughly 24 hours before it was to take place due to unavailability of a technician. There are four stores in my area and yet there was no one available (and no stores available) to complete the installation. I called the store to reschedule and no one answered the phone. The next day I called, was put on hold for an excessively long time, and finally was able to speak to the person who informed me of the cancellation. I was given a new date--nearly one month in the future. Not terribly pleased with the service, but things happen.

Install car speakers

Car speakers

I had to cancel my order because they decided the speakers could not be installed and they wanted me to drive over an hour to get them installed. And they haven’t refunded the $80 installation fee as of yet.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased install package on the speakers and the employee went through the computer to set me up an appointment which was 30 days out, busy I guess... anyways after waiting a WHOLE month , finally the day had come for me to get my speakers installed, so I show up at the back, walk in , the guy says, can I help you, you got an appointment or something, I said as matter of fact I do at 1:00 pm, so he replies.. I don't think you do, because that car is not the one we have scheduled for today at that time, so I reply well I don't know but I have an appointment today at 1:00 pm like I said, so he pulls up the computer screen and asks my name, nope there is no appointment for you today. OMG. I waited a WHOLE month to get this done and take off half day work to get them installed only to find out the guy who originally sold me the install package a month prior didn't do something right, because I watched him put me on the schedule for that date and time, he even showed me on the PC and calendar. So, the only thing that could have happened was that someone else had removed me and put another person in place of me. VERY TICKED OFF at this point. He said I can reschedule you, I said no, I took off work today to get them installed. not to mention I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks to get back in. I said just give me my money back.. SO that's my experience with BEST BUY's installation service... NEVER AGAIN. I'll let a couple of my Hill Jack relatives install them

Only Partial Service

They said they did not have a technician that could properly install them. I am supposed to check with the installer on 2/15/24 to see if they now have a technician that can do the installation correctly.

Installed no Problem

I wish there was some sort of deal but the techs are great and they know what they are doing!

Supervisor did try to help get it going.trund out he had pulled the wires and pulled the rubber coating of the wire and the wires were arcing against a piece of metal.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.not a great experience as i had an appointment which email said to be there 15 mins early for check in.. i was 30 mins early and had someone there to pick me up and it took almost an hour to get help. employee was late to work and management was not helpful and when i asked to speak with them they made me return to the back of the store where i had to wait another 20 mins before she arrived and opened the door for me. when i expressed how i was inconvenienced along with the person picking me up and how i was now late to work myself she did not have any concern or apologies for me.

Had to go back

Wouldn't install my subs

Wouldn't hook up my subs since I didn't spend more $ on another wiring kit. Ask them to hook up the rca cables to back of radio that way didn't have to pull the radio out to hook up subs since I had to do those myself he looked at me like wasn't sure knew what I was talking about. But they installed everything else and for the most part works alright

They did what?!

They told me it was an aftermarket problem. They said the wires were not harnessed correctly (taped instead of souldering) & they were corroded. Took it back & come to find out, they had a trainee work on one side of the car & a Best Buy employee work on the other... now my question is, why wouldn't the employee double check the trainee's work?!
