Worth it for picture and sound

Amazing picture and sharp sound.

The steel box is very nice for collectors as well. I had to give it 4 stars as it's the updated version, and certain scenes are very distracting, especially the Tatooine additions. They look very out of place and too much CGI, and I wish they had the original , untouched version.

Great star wars movie beginning the force.

This started all the hoopla with lines backed up to see the movie and causing a big stir. Pretty amazing with the fact it almost never happened and if the studio axed it, there would never have been ANY sequels. Even the actors were puzzled about whether this would be a success. As far as the movie, blu ray has so improved the sound and clarity. Think back a few years how movies looked like on VHS! Luke (Mark Hamell) is the hero but this really propelled Harrison Ford's carreer. Bottom line: Great movie to watch over and over and over!

A Science Fiction Masterpiece

I bought the entire series again because I am a Star Wars mega fan and always will be this original classic started it all back in 1977!! which I seen at age 11(now mid 50's time flies) in Seattle at the Cinerama theatre which is the best theatre in Seattle by far and still today remember the experience what a blast of excitement.

Star Wars Steelbook Limited Edition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These are a must have for any star wars fan I already own all 6 on blu ray and dvd and vhs but when I saw these at bestbuy I had to get them as well there made really well and each one has the original movie poster on the back of them overall this is a great gift idea for someone or just a great gift for yourself I would highly recommend this to everybody you definitely want to add these to your collection and there all limited edition so id buy them while I still could.
