These Star War movies are so special and valued even today with the more sophisticated special effects technology that they still sell at almost the same price as a new release movie! Even at that price they are well worth the money! I have had them on my wish list for some time and scored the original first 3 films on May 4th when Best Buy had a 1 day sale and offered them for $10 a piece!!! THANK YOU BB!!!

Star Wars started it all with groundbreaking special effects, I remember my parents taking us to see Star Wars when it first came out in 1977. We had no idea how awesome the movie was going to be and we were mesmerized throughout the entire movie. As we left the theater we knew we had just watched something unique, unlike any thing we had ever seen befor. This movie has not aged and is still a masterpiece.

Finally nice to get all the Star Wars Films on 4K.

Hubby and I decided to gift his brother with the saga for Christmas. We originally planned on getting him the box set, but were very disappointed with the look of the box set. We previously purchased the box set when it was first put together as a set and the quality and look/design of the casing was MUCH better. We bought all six of these individually and spent the same amount if we had bought the box set.

Nothing spectacular about this Blu-ray transfer. I had bought the Star Wars Blu-ray collection (box set) when it was first released, but had since misplaced my New Hope disc. This was bought as a replacement. I like the steel box, though I don't understand the new trend of steel box releases other than to make more money. lol But the disc is good, though nothing new.

Its Star Wars on 3 discs at sale price. Great. Just wished they had better packaging. All of them need thicker boxes.

You can never go wrong watching A New Hope. It was an instant classic and my second favorite Star Wars film of all time! The first being The Empire Strikes Back. Definitely worth the purchase! 4KUHD just makes everything better.

The artwork on the steelbook is absolutely stunning! I already had all of the movies on DVD but figured that once the steelbooks came out I would upgrade to the Blu-Ray and I wasn't disappointed! If you want all of the additional bonus features then you should probably go for the Anthology box set, but if you're going for appearance all of the steelbooks are very nice!

The steelbook for this is very nice looking. It is great for the collector. The only downside to the steelbook is trying to get a pristine copy. These don't seem to be available in store and you never know what you are going to get when it is shipped to you. As for the movie, you only get 1 blu-ray disk. Nothing special for bonuses and whatnot.

Star Wars is one of the most influential movie series of all time so it only makes sense they give it a beautiful case. The front of Episode IV has Darth Vader, while the back is an image of the photo on the promotional posters for the movie when it released. The image quality is great and I recommend this pick up to any steelbook or Star Wars fans.

I have owned boxed sets of the original Star Wars trilogies, but have lost or misplaced certain episodes. I was happy to be able to buy a single episode instead of having to pay for another boxed set. I used buy on line and pick up in store which worked well. The salesman even got me a different copy when he heard the disc rattling in the case.

1977 sci-fi classic. Movie comes in an attractive steelbook case. Only downside is the movie contains later CGI additions, which clash with the movie's original aesthetic. The quality of this case far surpasses the cheap-looking disney-era Star Wars movie cases.

I've recently become a sucker for movies in Steelbook. I've been avoiding buying the six original movies for a while but I ended up seeing these as a Deal of the Day. Couldn't ignore them any longer. While the packaging takes up a little more room on the bookshelf, I believe it's worth it. Oh yeah, and the movie is pretty good too. :-)

I'm all for the original version of this movie but got tired of waiting for its release, so just for the sake of it, I purchased this version for a very cheap price. I just needed to see some some version of Star Wars because it had been awhile. Well! if you can ignore the changes and the added visual effects than its sort of watchable with grit teeth. The blu ray itself is an okay transfer. there is a substantial amount of sharpness but a little too much crush in some scenes and whats with the pinkish skin tones. Oh well. I still prefer the original unaltered version. Watch it at your at own risk !.

Melissa is great, she help me find this movie so I can give it to my brother because my Christmas is ruined because of Snellville and their management, they accuse me of stealing locked up everything and wouldn’t give me back stuff that I already owned

I made this purchase hoping that it was the original theatrical version without the CGI. I was disappointed that it wasn’t. I love Star Wars and I already have the revised version.

It's the same movie as the blu-ray sets except the special steelbook case. Would have been nice if they came w/ the digital copies, but it's only a barebone blu-ray disc. If you could get this on sale, it's good to collect this one along w/ the Force Awakens steelbook. The back covers all have the poster art for each movie.

The original Star Wars belongs in every movie collection. Video quality on the 4k side isn't as great as the transfers from the more recent movies, but it's the best it's looked in the home. Audio track is outstanding. Very highly recommended!

Star Wars A New Hope is where it all started. This is the movie that I saw as a young kid that woke up my imagination of what could be out there. It's such a great movie. It's very entertaining and a must have. This steelbook is awesome. Now I wish they would bring out a series of the Rebels to go with the Dark Side Steels.

What can I say about this movie it is awesome the original very 1st Star Wars that started this beautiful saga till this day go out and get it and watch the beginning of endless action and stuff
