Bought for the 4k up-grade along with it having the bonus features

finally the one that started it all in 4k. worth revisiting, until the 8k version comes out.

The first three Star Wars movies to be released were definitely the best. This is the one that started it all so it's still my favorite. At the time it came out there was nothing else like it.

A classic movie and the must-have for everybody. This digital format was fantastic, and nothing was lost in the digital translation. I really enjoy the fact that it's available on the cloud, whenever I want it. This is a very convenient format and I would highly recommend it for anyone.

Finally Star Wars in 4K. Been waiting a long time for this. The transfer is great

I been waiting to get this latest upgrade. I’ve owned every version of this movie since VHS. This is definitely worth the wait!

The best this will look for now. Still would be nice to have the original version of this.

Usually I buy steelbooks for future value. This time I bought them for the packaging. I already have all 6 films on blu ray but the price was right n I figured it was a solid addition to my collection of Blu rays n steelbooks. I enjoy having these and hope future buyers will too.

On May The Fourth Be With You Day Best Buy had a great deal on the Star Wars Movies in Blu-ray. I didn't have any of these in Blu-ray so I bought all but the fourth (1st in the prequel series). It was out of stock. Now I can do a marathon with my wife (her idea!) and watch in HD.

4K version: nice to have this movie and ESB in 4K. Sound is par.

This movie came out when I was a kid, and it was so impressive. This DVD brings it all back a.day made me feel 12 again. The only part that I'm not crazy about is the CGI usage in place of the old version. Computer animation just did not look realistic. But overall a great DVD.

I wanted to see if the 4k Blu-ray looked and sounded better than 4k streaming. It did, except for the the scenes that my greasy fingerprints may playback funny. Fixed with a quick cleaning of the disc.

I'm new to the Jedi world. I bought the steel book collection because they look cool and i thought it was time. There all good. but watching the the original was pretty interesting in the sense that it was written in an open-ended way to expand. did lucas plan on such a success?

I've been looking to pick-up the entire series on Blu-ray for some time and what better way than this Steelbook with Vader dominating the cover? If you know the franchise, you already know the film is phenomenal. The Steelbook cases just makes it that much better.

Each of the films in the Star Wars Steelbooks collection has SOME special features, just not ALL special features. You do not get any additional footage beyond the main film on each disc, but you DO get commentary. Commentary includes words with George Lucas and the film crew on one track – and on another track, an awesome collected mash-up of audio commentary from archival interviews with the cast and crew.

I bought this steel book Blu-ray copy deal of the day and a great savings. I have been wanting the star wars series on Blu-ray and the steel book series, sweet deal, made it better.. It's Star Wars, if you are a fan you will want to add this to your DVD collection.

Like the other movie purchase I reviewed, this was to replace a dvd I lost in one of the last moves I've had to make. I've loved this movie ever since I was a kid; when it went on sale, I had to have it.

I love the original trilogy. I also love the prequels. I also love the new films. I understand why directors didn't want carbon copies of the og trilogy. Nostalgia in 4k is worth it.
