This is the first (not Phantom Menace) the best and the greatest! Just a wonderful, rollicking adventure. And no Luke trying to hook up with Leia, which we will find out in the next one would be REALLY CREEPY!

Solid upgrade from the regular Blu-ray that came out years ago

First off very great packaging. Film is on point. Although it is weird and some what uncomfortable to watch episode 1-3 and then start 4-6 due to the time they were filmed and the technology used. Overall this movie in particular is great.

Love the 4K! What a beautiful picture on our 65" TV. Not only that, but a digital copy as well to watch anywhere on my phone or ipad.

I have never seen any of the Star Wars movies, and since the new one was coming out, my friends decided that I needed to get them and see them. Loved that Best Buy had them on special in the metal cases, Great add to my movie collection.

This is the Star Wars movie that started it all. Although it is the fourth movie, it is arguably the one to start anybody that hasn't seen Star Wars with. It is gripping from the beginning and is as classic as ever. Pick it up!

The day I bought this movie on 4K, I was surprised to see episodes 4-6 4Ks were on sale for $15, so I took advantage of the 4th episode and only paid $15 for it.

Has a pretty good picture quality and HDR. Good sound too.

Again my review is for these special steelbook editions. I bought all six even though I own the complete collection. Every Star War Collector must own the six steelbook editions. They are very special additions to my Star War Collection.

I've now purchased the "original" Star Wars trilogy on four video formats (VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, and Blu-Ray). Blu-Ray is the simplest to deal with and has the best picture and sound of any of the others (sorry, laserdisc fans). However, I was disappointed to discover that this was the so-called "Special Edition" version, not the original theatrical version cleaned up for Blu-Ray. I'm not a huge fan of the Special Editions, but if you are, you'll love this.

The first "Star Wars" episode released (though #4 in the whole story) and, considering the state of special effects at the time, it still is a thrilling movie with then-state of the art effects and definitely worth watching again, though I was a little disappointed with the revisions from the original theatrical version that George Lucas made for the BD version. If you watch this, you'll see how similar "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is story-wise.

From the 1st time I saw it on the big screen, I was in love with this movie. I'm such a geek. It's my favorite Star Wars! I have recommended it to friends that have never seen any Star Wars movies (How could that be?!?!?).

I mean, c'mon... does this really need a review... its freakin star wars.... The steelbook case is really cool though. If you are looking to get star wars.... you shouldn't even be reading reviews... you need to just buy it.

Best movie in the series in my opinion, although having no digital copy is a bit of a bummer. I hear it has to do with licensing rights and 20th Century Fox, I wish there would be a way to bring in those rights somehow though.

This is the bluray master of the "revised" Empire, and despite many people's hopes, the original theatrical release is nowhere to be found here. But, most changes were cosmetic in nature and with one VERY notable exception...

Star Wars is one of the best movies that ever came out and now you have the opportunity to own the steelbook collection. This is a great movie to watch as a whole family.

I had 2 Star Wars movies missing from my collection. At first I ordered them just to fill the void. Finally, took time to watch and it was just like I was back at the theatre again. Thank You Best Buy

I've always loved Star Wars. Lucas is a genius. Love the story line of the entire saga. The bonus footage makes this movie even better. A great item to add to any Star Wars collection for the avid Star Wars fan!!
