Great movie, and beautifully packaged. Would highly recommend this.

IMHO, episodes 4, 5, and 6 are the foundation for the Star Wars saga. Especially if you are getting ready to see the new Star Wars, these three will set the stage perfectly.

It's Star Wars. Seriously. The movie that started it all. Always worth a rewatch.

this is one of my favorite star wars films. a must own star wars or lucas film. lots of great bonuses and awesome collectors case. quality is really good too.

The worst of the original trilogy, but it's still very good. Story telling that sci-fi directors still try to mimic to this day.

Loved seeing these movies as a kid and now I have it on blu-Ray. I was reliving childhood memories when I noticed there were a few changes. ****spoilet alert**** There are scenes that may not appeal to fans of the original. Added scenes which make the movie feel different, in my opinion. I don't regret buying them but I was just a bit surprised.

If ever there were a time to buy the Saga its this year. its truly the year of star wars and these collectors steelbooks are perfect i had to get them all I am a huge fan.

Great dvd for my collection look forward to getting all the movies on Blu ray if you still have a blu ray player.

My friend frm work doesnt but what does he kno. i mean the only reason he doesnt bc his ex was a jerk about it but sw is still the best in my opinion

I never got into the whole Star Wars craze. It wasn't until recently that I gave it a shot because my girlfriend liked all the movies. I was pleasantly surprised. This movie was actually pretty good it held my interest and kept me curious to see what happens next. It can be a bit confusing to follow but I'm sure re watching it would help.

An old favorite. Plays great on the new Sony OLED TV. Graphics and audio are terrific. Highly recommended.

Th movie overall is great but it seems a little grainy especially on the people's faces. I was hoping for a little higher quality picture so I'm a little disappointed!!! I should take the fact is a very old movie so I suppose that they done as good a job as they could being it is old film. So I would still recommend it. It's still enjoyable.

Great sci-fi movie for it's time.. had to start somewhere.. builds suspense for next movie to add to ... Luke will find himself so I was told and what his life goals are by a muppet.. puppet.. or a yogurt... Sorry Yoda... The force is strong with this one...

It's Star Wars...what more do you need?!?!?! The steelbook is really nice and looks great for a collector; otherwise, buy any version of this movie. IT'S STAR WARS!

These Star Wars steelbooks are pretty nice looking! A nice glossy finish & a debossed Star wars font. Probably gonna be sold out soon so I'd get one while I can!

As I never had the first six episodes in Blu Ray, what a better way to have them than in the Steelbook boxes. They are perfect transfers as you would expect.

I couldn't pass up this product when I saw it in the store. I knew it would be perfect for my 13 y/o son's introduction to Star Wars and the packaging is awesome.

Bought this movie because of all the Star Wars hype lately. I never watched any of the movies so decided to purchase these steel book editions because they look cool and to experience the series. The movie is alright, kind of slow to pick up, but that's what it was for its time. Not bad though, definitely something to watch.
